Tinkerbell almost died!!!
October 14th 2007 09:06
I was away on vacation for three weeks with the kids when it happened. Hubby opened the door and let her outside to potty before work, like we always do. She was out no longer then 10 minutes and came back in with her intestines hanging out a HUGE hole in her stomach. We still to this day have no clue what happened. something peirced all the way through her 4lb body, popped out her back and then she wiggled off it somehow, wobbeling back inside. The house was dark since hubby was leaving for work, so he didn't even realze anythin was wrong, just let her in and went to work. She laid inside and by a miricle survived the night. When our vet opened her, her overise where hanging barely by a blood vesel and wher ein bad shape. She is now a fixed puppy and healed wll. she is our little miricle for sure. She didn't want to eat he blan food perscribed for two weeks, until i got home. and a dog that always followed me everywhere now REALY follows me everywhere. Even into the bathroom. lol
The kids are all doing good. I've been working like crazy on my online job and still love it. Trying to earn enough for a realy good christmas. we also have a two week trip to Williamsburg in November. Well, we have one week booked and still booking the second tomarow or monday. If i can't get williamsburgh for the second week we're tryingfor DC. my friend lives right by there so she can come see me and vice versus. They are comming for some of the time to Williamsburg. It's a tradition in nov that we go there every year usualy.
I'm hoping o havemore time for writing between now and my next trip. Alot has been happening and ifeel very busy, but i realy am not. Been lazy since my trip, but Oct is flying. how is that!!!

I am just so happy that she's OK again, give her a big hug for me.
And I was very fond of Petunia, but I guess some things just don't work out. Love to you and yours, it's been a hard year for you.
Love and hugs, katyzzz

Not sure why it's leaving me anonymous!!! <smirks> but anyway...
Yeah, it was sooo hard. We had arranged it that we werent here when she was picked up, but as usualy things didn't work out that way, so we where here. That was harder then i had ever imagned it would be. When we got her, i almost didn't get her because i knew it may not work out but i couldn't let them kill her. I was torn because i knew i'd love her but never imagined just how much i'd love her. She was a pig!!!I love animals and we had a pig when the kids where young, butonly like wo weeks. I just never realized what a cute and adorable animal a pig could be. i miss her dearly, but bigproblems can come with horses running free. There is a 300 acre grassy area in front of us for the airport, then two highways, creeks, and tons of farms, then the mountains and lots of woods. A couple of the times she set the horses free ittook four hours one of those, to find them. I've nevver been sooo scared. Thank God we have quads to zoom around all that land looking for them. It had to be done.
Tinkerbell, WOW, you should see her tummy. She was split all the way up the tiny thing. She isn't a bit scared of going outside, although we are still nervouse. lol never probably will ever figure out what she got stuck on. She is great now though. Just got her staples and stitches out on thursday. still healing.
Talk to you very soon!!!

Ooh poor little thing. How awful. I am so pleased that she survived that terrible ordeal. It sounds like an arrow went through her, doesn’t it?
Sounds like you are having a great time catching up with all your animals friends and each blade of grass of your home… be it ever so humble, hey?
It is lovely to ‘see’ you again…

Tinkerbell is doing great. Back to normal now. Finally eating regular food again, which i'm sure she is very happy about. Took a few weeks to get back to the good stuff. Lol
Take care! Tammy
