Tiger I is the name of a German tank. It was made in 1942. It was used in WWII. It had the eye and armour to kill. The Soviet encountered a range of threats. The Tiger with its 88mm gun was most effective for ground targets. However it was over-engineered. It was expensive, and was time consuming to make. Only 1347 were made. It also had weakness, like failed when immobilized. In 1944 it was phased out by the blooming of Tiger II.
