Tiana Scared

Tiana looked at the room. It seemed scary. She didn't know what she was going to do now that her big sister Anne had left home. However she knew she didn't want to stay indoors! Her father Garrison had been drinking. Tiana could smell it on the air. She felt scared when he drank. For when he drank he liked to yell and swear a lot. He liked to break things. She didn't like him drinking so much and leaving the house in chaos! It made her feel frightened!
Tiana shivered as she heard footsteps on the floor. She sat in the corner as she glared at the light under her door. When the light began to darken it meant there was someone outside. Tiana trembled as she heard the steps. They stopped for a moment and she heard a burp. Tiana could almost smell a richer mode of alcohol. She began to sob a little inside of her mind, and she had to blink back her tears.
Tiana finally saw it! After moments of wait she saw the black shadow! It was the embodiment of all things evil. The boots outside of the door stopped dead, and Tiana knew that there was a person behind the door! She knew it was Garrison! She almost wanted to offer a yelp as she saw the shadow linger. She then heard gulping. She could hear it as though it were a snake travelling through her mind. She could hear it so clearly, the guzzling. It sounded again and again, and then when it ended glass smashed onto the floor! Tiana squealed a little. She hadn't meant to! She had intended on being brave! However her voice slipped out, and the sound resounded around the room!
Immediately the door began to shake as though there were a tornado behind it! It shook with vigour as the hinges began to shiver. It seemed ferocious, so ferocious that Tiana waited for the whole door to collapse! However after a while the shaking stopped, and Tiana was able to give a sigh of relief.
“He's stopped!” she whispered as she glared with the most intense of stares. “Now he is going away;” she whispered as she listened to the dark and waited for the shadow to move.
There was a short linger. In that time Tiana was able to hold her breath as her heartbeat thud like a drum inside of her hollow chest! Tiana listened to the silence and grew on the dream and she would always be protected by the door that stood in place. However then the knob on the door began to turn. Tiana gulped and shivered as it moved! The monster behind the door had been able to figure out how to get into her room! It had figured out how to open the door!
Tiana shivered in her seat as the door swung open. He voice caught inside of her throat as she ached to scream out her scared. She saw Garrison with his eyes looking mean and black! They were so cold they dripped ice inside of her tender heart! She wanted to almost sob! However her eyes were unable to cry so heavy was her sense of scared.
“What are you doing up?” asked Garrison as he glared at her in a manner that was very rude. “It's almost nine!” he muttered. “Little girls need to go to sleep by nine!” he said as he grew a tone that was very edgy!
“I am sorry!” gasped Tiana before she stood and then scurried to the bed!
Garrison nodded as he watched Tiana slip inside of her bedsheets. He could see she had slippers on, and she failed to remove them as she slipped under the covers. Garrison shook his head, and then he approached the bed in a frustrated manner. He flipped open the bed-sheet as grumbles ran off his tongue, then he removed the shoes.
“Dumb little girls need to know beds aren't made for slippers!” he declared before he threw the slippers into a corner. “You dumb little girl?!” he asked as he narrowed his eyes.
“No;” muttered Tiana as she shook her head.
“Then why did you not take off the slippers?” he asked as he narrowed his eyes with spite.
“I don't know;” muttered Tiana.
“Because you're a dumb little girl!” told Garrison as he glared at Tiana in an evil manner. “A very dumb little girl!” he said as he began to chew hard on some gum.
Garrison hovered his palm over Tiana's face like a UFO. He held it there for a few seconds. Tiana shivered as she glared at it. She could see sweat beading at the edge of his fingers. Then she saw it fall, and she was smacked pretty hard all over her face!
Tiana began to weep as her whole face swelled up! She couldn't even breathe. Garrison pulled her hair and taunted her as she struggled. He called her names, names which Tiana didn't like. Then he swore at her until she sobbed some more. After a while he issued a smack that left her cheek throbbing and her nose running with red! Tiana trembled as she fingered her bleeding nose! Garrison looked at it, and grabbed it in order to make it stop bleeding! It worked, but it left Tiana very sore indeed! She sobbed as Garrison looked to her, and then she sobbed as he swore and stepped away.
“You stay in bed until morning!” he muttered as he pointed her way and shot her with an imaginary gun. “Or hunters will hunt for you;” he said before he left the room and slammed the door closed!
Tiana shivered inside of her bed. She was scared.
