This was sent to me in an email forward and to be honest I was sickened if this is what it is supposed to be. I feel very guilty because my insane mind actually aksed myself the question "will he ever steal again?". The more I thought about it I came to the conclusion I would consider killing anyone who used this as punishment on any child in front of me.

No religion can ever justify such hideous crimes. I wanted to know if this was accurate and not some acted shock video and searched the website - www.metacafe.com and this is a site similar to You Tube. I could find no further information.

Don't believe me - why would his punishers so thoughtfully put some nice soft padding down under his arm to keep it from getting cut up, if the intent is to destroy it?
And the man in the first photograph is speaking into a microphone. Can't you just hear him saying, "And now ladies and gentlemen, the amazing boy with the iron arm..." or something like that?

The preceding images are apparently authentic -- they were published as such in 2005 on the Iranian news Web site Peyke Iran, at any rate -- but the accompanying caption doesn't jibe with the original report and was clearly fabricated after the fact.
According to a Peyke Iran spokesperson who corrected the record last November in a note posted on Little Green Footballs, the young boy whose arm was run over was not being punished for a crime. He was part of a "Maareke giry" or street magic act and allegedly performed the stunt for money (note the gentleman speaking into a microphone in image #1). The seventh and eighth pictures in the series, which appear to show the child shaken but otherwise unharmed after the ordeal, were omitted from the email flier but can still be viewed on Peykeiran.com (where all the images are attributed to photographer Siamak Yari).

Wow - you are more stupid than me for posting the original article. Did you not read the comments you goose? Or is this just a way for you to spread whatever crap you are with your links - could not be bothered going to any of them, you see I did that already when I retracted what most thought was the truth and already corrected myself.
