"Kill Mommy or die!" commanded The Wind. It aided a tree branch to lift Lynn's window. Then Wind let itself inside.
It blew the blanket shielding Lynn's body onto the hardwood floor. Lynn jumped out of bed.
"No," she cried. But Wind stifled her protest with its horrible howl.
