Autumn-Grace had snuck into the house much later that night and went straight to her bedroom. She needed to be alone to think about what had happened between her and Tyler.
Lana heard her daughter come in and looked at the clock. It was after 2:00a.m. Lana knew that Autumn-Grace had been at Tyler’s. Autumn Grace: Part 2

Autumn-Grace came to a screeching halt at the full-service station. As she waited for an attendant, she grew angrier as she rehashed the conversation with her mother. “I have a problem…” she muttered under her breath. She looked at the clock and then back at the gas station. Still no one came. She knew what was going on. This was a perfect example of what she had been trying to tell her mother. She couldn’t believe her relationship was this big of an issue for the small-minded bigots in her small town. With every passing minute that she sat there, she grew angrier. She refused to leave. They would provide service to her, no matter how long she had to wait. Finally, after about fifteen minutes, an attendant lumbered out to the car.

Autumn Grace: Part 1

Autumn-Grace sat at the kitchen table with her mother, Lana. They stared at each other as the ceiling fan hummed and the blades made dark shadows on the walls. It pulled the odor of burning leaves in through the open window to mix with the faint lilac scent of the card and torn envelope on the table. It was an invitation to a cousin’s rehearsal dinner. Lana and Autumn-Grace were invited. Tyler was not.

My sister-in-law died this past Wednesday morning at 2:00a.m. She left behind a five year old son and a 13 year old daughter. This is not a post to wax poetic about what a great woman she was.

Back into the Womb

This is different than my normal post but as I am reflecting on my life and my blessings, I am also questioning certain things about myself, about the things which prevent me from feeling joy full on in my life, not just during the Christmas season. One of the areas that both creates tremendous joy and paralyzing fear and worry is being a mother.
I am blessed beyond measure four times over. I have two girls and two boys, all of them are wonderful people. I have raised them with integrity, intelligence and honesty. I consider them to be four of the greatest people I have ever met.

The following is the result of an overactive imagination of a rabid Alice in Chains fan. While much of this is based on interviews and an actual performance of AIC, on MTv Unplugged in 1996, it is written as a fictional account of that event.
The pounding on the front door woke him up out of his drug-induced haze. Layne couldn't open his eyes for fear that the sunlight streaming through the window would blind him. His arm hurt like hell...he couldn't remember why but it hurt to even move it.

ok lets get one thing straight right now. Pedophiles are not sick. They do not need help. They need to be DEAD. EVERY ONE OF THEM. I don't give a flying fuck if YOU are a pedophile reading this. I don't care if they were molested, I don't care if they were tortured and I REALLY don't care if they have a mental disorder that causes it and I don't even care if they had a tumor in their brain pressing on some weird shit in there to make them temporary pedophiles-(seen that on an episode of Law and Order: SVU.) Now I want to be completely clear.
