Dear TV Babble,
You cringed when you heard that Ray Martin would be doing the Terri Irwin interview?
I cringed when I heard that there would be an interview!
Whatever happened to Rest In Peace?
Not likely while ever there is a buck to be wrung from the now deceased King of Tireless Self Promotion.
What I was surprized about was that Ray didn't interview little Barbie ... er, Bambi? ... er, Bindi, and Bob.
I bet he tried.
But that will come later, when Bob can talk, and when Bindi has her own chat show. It won't be long.
I bet Harry M. Miller and Channel 9 are already cooking up the deal.
Stay tuned. The Dianafication of Steve Irwin will be relentless.

No to all your questions.
It's anarchy out here; survival of the fittest, Law of the Jungle and all that stuff.
We don't vote and never will.
It's humans who are stuffing up this planet - you fix it!

I'm with Germaine!

Crickey! What a yob that bloody khaki-wearing wildlife molester was!
Worse than a politician kissing babies!

Frankly, we'd all had enough and word was out on the world-wide wildlife web that whoever
got the next chance to put an end to Steve's endless harassment would have our blessing.

Was there a creature he hadn't leapt on and groped for the camera?
Just the Stingray, and he was about to. Forget that blarney they dragged out the next day about
the video footage of 'the moment'. (Why won't they show you?)
For me to be within striking distance of him meant that he was in striking distance of me
... so I got in first! Wake up, people! It's the First Law of Wildlife!

Was there ever an on-camera moment where Steve didn't go for the grapple? No.

For the Queensland police spokesman (with Irwin lieutenant beside him) to say that "Steve Irwin did
nothing to provoke the Stingray" flies in the face of everything the public had come to expect of him
- it was the basis of his celebrity! - and shows misplaced police understanding of wildlife
and Irwin's teams' disingenuousness. "Nothing to provoke" ... well, I was there and I was the judge
of that. Clearly, I, the Stingray felt threatened. Not on my back you don't!

Sorry to rain on you humans' parade, but your fixation with paltry 'celebrity' has sowed the seeds
of the grief you fleetingly feel. The Dianafication of Steve Irwin just goes to show how hundreds
of millions of people can be so wrong!

But don't worry, the same-mould grooming of little Barbie ... er, Bindi ... (soon to be followed by
little Bob) will now be accelerated and she'll soon have her own internationally syndicated TV show
and DVD franchise and the Irwin empire will barely skip a beat.

Crickey, you didn't think they'd ditch such a money-spinner did you?
No way.

You heard it first from The Stingray.
