NFL Scores October 30, 2011

Another Sunday in the NFL is in the books and many different things happened this weekend. The Dallas Cowboys look to be in shambles as the Eagles destroyed them in the Sunday Night Game by a 34-7 score. Tim Tebow started his second game and it looks like he is no NFL quarterback as the Detroit Lions took it to his Broncos by a score of 45-10. It the Tim Tebow experiment over in Denver? It could be if things do not change quickly.

Indianapolis and Miami still searching for that elusive first win and the Rams shocked the Saints to get their first win of the season. The Steelers and Patriots hooked up in a good game with Big Ben getting the best of Tom Brady

Another Strange Week In College Football

Well another week in the books in College Football and it was a wild and crazy weekend. Nebraska handled the Michigan State Spartans easily, while Oklahoma showed everyone Kansas State was just a mirage. Clemson was a team I thought would easily win, but found out that no game is easy as they lost to Georgia Tech.

Stanford and USC had a game for the ages that went into triple overtime 56-48 and the Cardinals coming out on top. The Wisconsin Badgers also got beat again, but this time it was the Ohio State Buckeyes who did them in

Nebraska Controls Own Destiny In Big Ten With 24-3 Whipping Of Spartans

After Nebraska got manhandled by Wisconsin many people were ready to jump off the Husker bandwagon. I was not one of them as I have learned that one game does not make a season and you must play them all before making any kind of judgement. Saturday the Cornhuskers welcomed a Michigan Spartans team that was on a roll and jumped over them in the polls. This did not sit well with the Cornhuskers and they took it out on the Spartans in the form of a 24-3 beat down in Lincoln.

Nebraska's Rex Burkhead rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns and even caught a touchdown pass for good measure. Taylor Martinez did not have one of his most productive games, but they got the win and that is what matters the most. The Blackshirts for Nebraska was the story of this game. Nebraska held the Spartans to less than 200 total yards on offense after the Spartans racked up a lot of yards against the Badgers last week

College Football Schedule October 29, 2011

This weekend we have some very interesting games. Michigan State vs Nebraska should be a big game today. The Spartans need to keep winning just as the Cornhuskers must as well.

Another big game has Kansas State and Oklahoma tangling with each other. Kansas State has been one of the biggest surprises this season in College Football. There are plenty of other games on tap, but this is two I have my eye on today
