"The small things mean the most!!"

it's the small things in life that mean the most and make for a great marriage. not alot of husbands would be supportive if he walked in the door from worked and learned his wife and two of his children where leaving town on a last minute trip, leaving him, with everyday work, and now on top of taht 3 horses to feed, 1 pig, 8 chickens, 2 birds, 1 snake, and four dogs. he smiles, gets excited for us, runs to the ATM. fills up my tank, even packs soda for us. then to top all that off, when we call and are on our way home early. i tell him we're going to make it home in time to go to the drive inn. something that we had planned for friday night, before this trip came up. since it was an all girl trip, i realy wanted to get home to take my son. when hubby finds out, he gets busy after working all day, and had just worked two doubles. i didn't even know what he was up to until i walked in to the smell of burgers. he made hot dogs and burgers with all the fixen, had them made up and in zip zocks for the drive inn. he also had pop iced up in a cooler, covers ready and all the such and the best part is, he wasn't even going to be able to go with us. he's a very un selfish man and i adore him. we leave for two weeks on thursday and once again, he'll take care of the pets and do so sooo well that it'll look like us girls never left. we'll come home to happy, well taken care of pets and a clean home. now alot of times when a women goes away, the house isn't so nice when you come home. i sooo apreciate this little gesture from charlie. i wouldn't care though if i had to clean when i got home. no big deal but it's like icing on the cake when you don't.
