The second storey is up!

Second storey
So of course, I did a little detour and went to have a look and there is the builder (our other cousin) and his wife on the second storey waving at us as we pull up. The stairs aren't in yet so I climbed a ladder to join them and the other two builders who were busy putting the rest of the frames up.

I got to stand in my walk-in wardrobe (it's huge), look out the kitchen window (it's gorgeous) and pretend to lie down in our master bedroom. It's amazing how the house starts to become how you picture it as the frames all come together.

Oh, and they aren't wood frames, they are timber...that's according to our builder.
