the saga continued

They talked every night on the phone while he continued dating Nikki and everything she wanted laid on the tips of her fingers. He would ask her to kidnap him, and they'd make plans for it and laugh.
The day of the Christmas Band Concert he asked her to call him afterwards and little did she know that would be the end of the happiness.
Nikki answered the phone which caused no big problems in her eyes. As long as she could talk to Will it would all be ok, but when he spoke to her he only barked that he would call her back.
She naturally shrugged it off and continued driving home and only a few minutes later she received a text message from an unknown number.
It couldn't possibly be Nikki. He wouldn't let her message me like this.
The arguing began. Nikki and Will had apparently thrown away the "True Love Waits" ring she had given to him before he left for basic. Almost every letter mentioned how it had helped him get through hard times.
Nikki just would not lay off. She couldn't handle it and told her she could have him and that he deserved a bitch like her.
In a panic, she called him in hopes he would calm her down with no luck.
"Did you throw away the ring?"
"No, who said that? Wait nevermind, but I'll call you back. I have to go calm her down..."
"I really don't think you will, just don't call back."
Her heart raced, pain stabbed her chest between every rib, her breath became seldom. Her step-brother and younger sister tried to help calm her down. They woke her mother for a trip to the hospital, but Jess refused.
"I'll be fine... I... uh... man... I'll go... get a shower... and I'll be fine..."
The anxiety attack caught her off-guard...
