Personally,I dnt hv any faith in the 'Institution Of Monarchy' even if it is limited by the Constitution of the land!
To me ,THE CONCEPT OF MONARCHY seems kind of anathema to The Idea and Practice Of Modern Democracy!
Well,people around the world,still rever the Institution of Monarchy,especially,in many of the advanced democracies of Europe!
The British Monarchy Is The Crowning-Glory and due to its symbolic sway on countries as far n remote as Australia,Newzealand,Canada n the likes,It commands a huge Popularity n Prestige!
This year also marks The Diamond Jublee for The British Crown and therefore this 86th birthday of Queen Elizabeth assumes all the more importance.
The Royals ,in recent times,have always kept such celebrations as a private-affairs,YET THERE ARE CUSTOMARY RITUALS TO BE OBSERVED!
With a 41-Gunshots at HYDE PARK, LONDON, the festivities kickstarted in UK n elsewhere in the Commonwealth-Nations!
