The pressure is on the Orlando Magics to close out the series at home
:
2009 NBA Playoffs
Lebron James's Cleveland Cavaliers live another day, as they grab a win at home against the Magics 112-102. The series is now 3-2, still in favor of the Orlando Magics. BUT I DO THINK THAT THE PRESSURE IS ON ORLANDO TO CLOSE THIS OUT AT HOME. They better not succumb to this so as not to affect their gameplan.
But as many know, The Cavs are no push over. Now that Mo Williams starts to heat things up, and Lebron James going out everynight on a mission.
Many criticize Lebron for the turnovers he had, and the bad decisions he made in game 4. But they don't realize that Lebron wasn't able to rest in the whole second half, and still played the whole 5 minutes of the overtime period. I think it's too much to ask for Lebron not to err. Remember basketball is a team sports, he cannot do it all by himself.
And as the Cavaliers fans say, "TO ERR IS HUMAN, TO AIR IS LEBRON".
Even "His Airness', Michael Jordan had strong supporting casts who were ready to play and make those hussle plays/ the intangibles-Pippen, Rodman, Kukoc, Longley, Harper, etc...
And now the Lakers are rolling not only because of Kobe, but also because of Pau Gasol, Lamar Odom, Andrew Bynum, and others.
But last night, we saw a different Cavs team. Williams and West outplayed Orlando's backcourt especially in scoring ( 25). Lebron's dishes were not wasted, as Varejao, Gibson, and the rest of the team were ready to take the shots. Truly, this made the game much, much more easier for LBJ.
He had 37 points, 14 rebounds, and 12 assists.
Alston only scored 3 points, way back in the first quarter, and never scored again.
The Cavs did a pretty good job in defending the perimeter, but they need more of that if they hope to make history against a dangerous team.
