Petards Next Annoyance

Is there anything that Peta can let go? Now they are targetting goldfish abuse. They must not realise that most use goldfish as feeders for larger pet fish. But they can't get their due spotlight by dealing with reality. They have to go after some sort of celebrity status animal that is forced to swim in a smaller bowl, perhaps during a show.
Goldfish poisoned by their own waste may happen when the caretakers NEVER change their water. Otherwise, goldfish, related to carp, can survive in even polluted waters. I kept a goldfish in a bowl for almost 10 years as a child. Now Peta the authority of animal suffering is giving their human-feeling thoughts of goldfish cruelty. Doesn't matter what the vet may say, they know the fish is suffering based on how humans would feel if they were in such conditions.
Next they'll attack the Betta that is rather comfortable in a small amount of water, even in the wild. They'll also find it cruel when people taunt them with mirrors or other males' jars next to each other. They flare-up and display their beautiful colors, and the Petards can't have that!
