Man's Wrong Solution To A Problem

First, read this! Now the topic of this entry is more understandable. Australia has a rather fragile ecosystem that may not recover when foreign species are introduced. The rabbit comes to mind as a loveable creature that practically ate all the vegetation.
In the USA there is currently a problem with feral cats. These are domestic cats that are released into the wild, perhaps because of the overpopulation. They easily survive and basically become a wild cat. As such they become a threat to other domestic and wild animals. It's only a matter of time before people get attacked...if they haven't already!
Australia seems to have a problem with feral cats, too. Perhaps killing is a solution to rectify the problem, but Eating them may not be a good idea. I agree that cats(even domestic) carry a variety of bacteria and diseases that may be deadly.
