The Natural Order - by signals

The Natural Order - June 2007

Inexperienced Foolish Man

June 25th 2007 20:02
Unless you have experienced a situation where there is famine, you pretty much take for granted the fact that food is abundant and readily available. This entry goes great with this! A co-worker commented that even if he was starving to death, he would never eat something disgusting. I beg to differ...

When true starvation sets in, man will eat rocks and poison just to kill the hunger pains.

Let's go by some WW2 stories on the European continent. There were ways for starving scavangers to find food. People who locked themselves inside had food. Horses are actually edible as are rats and cats and dogs. Berries and leaves supply nourishment unless they are poisonous.

In regards to global warming we forget the deep freezes and killer frosts of the 1800s that led to worldwide famine!

People today are too lax in their survival skills and don't know how to return to basics if the inevitable strikes.

If we ever are hit by worldwide famine here are things to consider:

The birds lead to food and sound the alarm when a bigger predator approaches.

If you can't catch the prey, wait until it is your turn on the pecking order...or fight a bear!

Herbs are easy unless you enter a herbivore's territory.

If you have a gun, watch for those who hide behind a fortress!

Those that starve have no morals and are driven by instinct to survive!

Man's Fault

June 17th 2007 17:49
There is yet a new concern for climate change. It is responsible for the killings in Darfur according to the UN Secretary General. Even if this were true, it does not mean man is responsible. That's just what they want you to believe.

Here is a problem caused by man. An iguana invasion in southern Florida. Their impact will come to be a reality, because stupid locals tend to bond to them by feeding them...thus increasing their numbers. They have no natural enemies and even if one is occasionally killed they reproduce too quickly. My solutions would be to start iguana recipes and start hunting and eliminating the invaders. Contrary to popular belief, iguanas can be highly aggressive especially during mating seasons. Their tails are painfully accurate whips. Their bites are painful, too.

More than likely the iguanas didn't escape but were released by owners that couldn't afford them, or they became too aggressive!

"Green" Pollution

Remember how ethanol was marketed as an environmentally friendly energy source? Well it is dirtying air and water supplies!

PROOF-Al Gore Is Just Hot Air

June 12th 2007 23:09
Should I have put this in my political blog? Naw! After all it's about Al Gore's flaming topic on Global Warming. This just proves that Al should stick to politics or seek employment at McDonalds. He doesn't know squat about the environment but will gladly take money from the gullible and stupid!

Al's poster-child of Kilimanjaro's melting ice caps may be due to the fact THAT IT'S A VOLCANO, moreso than humans' fuel consumption

Humorous Truth-The Bird Mafia

June 10th 2007 16:10
Most know that there is a pecking order among birds. Birds tend to follow a pecking order especially during feeding. When birds start commonly attacking other birds and animals including man, then conservation should turn to control. After 40 years since Ontario Place opened, it is controlled not by the government but by the birds! An elite froup of hostile birds at that!

Ever wonder why visitors to Hollywood and Beverly Hills buy those maps or go on tours to see where their favorite celebrities live? That's because like any business that makes you find things easier, it's a tourist trap! Sure some stars may be off limits, but if the price is right you might even get an autograph.

This same scenario will eventually unfold as conservationalists pat themselves on the back. They identify areas where the rarest of beasts on earth are found. Ever tell a child not to do something? It's only a matter of time when these areas are discovered and become tourist attractions. Even if the tourists have to be bored-no life-millionaires, these sites will be invaded by mankind

The earth has a way of restoring balance, even when man has a way of destroying it. We probably tend to make a bigger deal of things than we should. When wildlife appears where it doesn't belong or has never been seen before, it may be because wildlife's survival is greater than before.

All wildlife has defined territories. Territories have food, shelter, water, and a place to raise young. Survival is the name of the game. Thanks to the 'awww' of man, nature's survival is greater than ever. That is a part of why we find nature communing with man

Stay Tuned Part 1

June 6th 2007 23:46
I wrote of nature and diseases in another post. Remember that things may change. An example is the ho-hum bees that they say are being hit by a parasite. Also the decline only applies to beekeepers moreso than nature. So in the future some truth will come to light. I still believe that the Africanized killer bees are widening their range in North America.

This post is about the spread of diseases because of increasing human and animal population. This article is about a woman who contacted the bubonic plague. One needs to wonder what animals are responsible?

Environmental BS

June 4th 2007 18:32
When something is replaced with an 'environmentally friendly' product that costs more and has other dangers, one should wonder who's interest the lawmakers have in mind. Take a bill in the New York State Assembly that seeks to replace incandescent bulbs with 'energy friendly' ones. Of course the newer bulbs will last longer but cost approximately 10 times more than incandescents.

The new bulbs do contain mercury, but one shouldn't care when it comes to conserving the environment, fighting global warming and making our world safe for our children, all while emptying the consumers' pockets! Cheer-up, people because a similar bill is on it's way to Congress

Common Sense

June 2nd 2007 18:09
Whenever you handle ANY animal, even the adored clean pet, ALWAYS wash your hands before handling food and drink. Then you have something I have warned about. Animals have the potential of spreading diseases at an alarming rate. Petting zoos have the potential for spreading more that memories. No kidding!

So can zoos, farms, nature and anywhere animals are found help spread disease. Animals have fleas, lice, ticks, etc., not to mention mosquitoes and those diseased flies that land on everything

Grain Of Salt Scientists

June 2nd 2007 17:55
Ever wonder why I am skeptical of many scientific theories about the earth and environment? Because many scientists work for the companies and industries that cause the problem. The others are just nuts! Can't wait to see how far to the center of the earth these imbeciles with too much time on their hands get. I hope this isn't my tax dollars being wasted on yet another idiotic pipedream theory.

NASA and Global Warming

June 1st 2007 21:47
Should NASA even have an opinion on the subject? If anything they cause more of it than anyone else. One rocket launch is the same as a volcanic eruption, or close to it.

I tend to think that it isn't as big a deal as some believe. I also believe that man will survive either way.
