The Letterbox Garden
August 1st 2010 06:17
I know, it has been an AGE since I last wrote on this blog.
The priority of doing things around the house went low on the list when money had to go in other directions.
It's been six months since my last blog, and at the risk of sounding like a confessional moment, not a lot has happened around the house. We still don't have the pool in or the fence up although I did make curtains for the bedroom (subject for another blog).
Today was a gorgeous day and I've been itching to do SOMETHING in the yard so we decided to at least get a garden established around the letterbox.
Using plants that my generous in-laws gave us, sugar cane mulch leftover from our cousin and rocks found around the garden, we were able to set the little garden up with no financial outlay.
Not a bad job for inexperienced gardeners.
