It Italy the event of the sunken cruise ship is still being questioned. The driver has been outlined as the target for the blame. The captain had been steering a 290 meter long ship to shore performing a salute. The salute involves a drive up very close to shore. The captain had evacuated ship before the passengers, of which there were 4200. The captain had gashed the ship on rock 150 metres from shore, and it was filled with water before it sunk and fell onto one side.
