Obama = Reparations?

June 25th 2008 14:58

For as far back as I can remember the black community and its leaders have called for reparations for an institution that was abolished 150 years ago, slavery.

Now, their Moses has arrived! The almighty one, Obama, shall lead them out of bondage and into the promise land. The black community has put Sen. Obama on the same level as the civil rights leader, Martin Luther King. Just look at the magazine racks of your local stores, and you will see countless cover shots of the Senator. Each one is taken in black and white, and his poses are meant to evoke thoughts of the 1960's civil rights leaders.

From what I see, the black community and the quilt stricken white America feels that they are owed a black president and have made this election, not about the difficulties that face this nation, but about reparations. The other day I was talking to a black gentleman about the elections. As I tried to talk about the predominant issues, all he could say was it is about time for us (the black community) to have a black president. As I expressed my concerns with Sen. Obama's stance on the issues he became up set and said quote “you just want to keep us in slavery.”

Look Out! If the Senator doses not win the election in November, black America will be rioting in the street as if Martin Luther King has been shot again.

Let me start by saying I am not the biggest fan of Sen. John McCain being president. However, he is a man of integrity and impeccable credentials. He has proven this from his days in a North Vietnamese prisoner of war camp and through his many years in the US senate. Even if he had to go against the Republican leadership, he stuck to his principles and did what he believed right.

Unlike Sen. Obama and his lovely American hating wife, who both have been caught several times throughout this campaign saying one thing to the American people and quite another to their left wing base and to the Mexican and Iraqi governments. Now here he is declaring that he will not take any public money to run his campaign. If you cannot read the writing on the wall then let me spell it out for you. SPEACIAL INTEREST GROUPS will be paying for his campaign. This allows for unlimited spending on TV and radio ads. What I wonder now is what will he promise them behind closed doors and then lie to us in front of the camera.

When will the American people arise from their hypnotic spell that the media has put them in and see Senator Obama for what he really is, a man that will say and do anything to get elected? He has to if he wants to be elected because he has no principals, experience, and no true idea of what he is going to do if elected President of this great county. The fact is if he was not a black man he never would have made it this far.

The Blind Following the Blind

June 19th 2008 00:36
The other day I was speaking with this likeable lady about the approaching election. As I discussed my apprehensions I have with both candidates I could see her eyes gloss over. I could tell she was very uncomfortable with my opinion for Obama. Therefore, I asked her what she liked about the Senator. Her answer was, “He speaks well”, and that was it. This girl is ready to pull the levier for a man she knows nothing about. She couldn't tell me one of his policies. Not his foreign policy or his domestic policy, she simply thinks he speaks well.
She has dipped into the Obama cool aid and so has a lot of other people in this country.

The Obama campaign has done its job by getting this lady and others like her emotional. That has always been the Democrats most potent tool. By some means they have persuaded the American people that they are on the side of the poor and the Republicans are for the wealthy. The reality is just the opposite, however will never be able to change peoples minds. This is why we all need to get out and vote this November, do I agree 100 with Sen. McCain no. Just try to imagine this country under an Obama administration, our foreign policy will be weakened and the terrorist will even bolder and gain the upper hand. Therefore, please people before you settle on a candidate investigate the mans’ qualifications and experience.

Why would we care?

June 18th 2008 12:40
It looks like the liberal news media is so eager to have Oboma elected that they had to take a world poll. I guess since there are no polls here in America that put him in the lead they decided to ask the world.

When did we start electing or presidents by asking to world who they would like. We seem to be the only country that cares about what the world thinks about us. The media gets all up in arms every time another country seems not to like us. Did China or Iran take a poll of Americans before they started their nuclear programs? No
