The plants in this group reproduce bt means of spores or seeds carried in special organs. A further subdivision separates the simple liverworts, hornworts and mosses from the vascular plants. These are plants with vessels for the conveyance of sap, in organs specialized as roots, stems and leaves. The group includes all the familiar plants.
