the fundamentals of the U.S. economy are strong.

We all know that, after several of Wall Street’s financial institutions had collapsed Last Month, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice curiously claimed that “the fundamentals of the U.S. economy are strong.” In an interview with BBC yesterday, Rice again made the same argument, saying that “it is still an innovative economy, a creative economy”
Rice: the largest economic power in the world, more than 20 percent of the gross national product of the world, and that, frankly, isn’t going to change because of the financial crisis. But while the U.S. economy has slowed, it is still an innovative economy, a creative economy, the economy in which still more than one in every 10 patents in the world are done in a very small area in California. This is a big and strong and an innovative economy. And I doubt very seriously that it’s going to be supplanted by any other economy in the world for a long, long time to come.
she might want to look at China, India and moreover the European Countries, These all are having their own problems, but all of them are aggressively working to fix them. We better know that the U.S. economy is more than capable of recovering and growing once again as faster as it can. In such situation I remember the thought of
Thomas Jefferson (3rd President of the U.S.)” In matters of style, swim with the current; in matters of principle, stand like a rock.””
