Impulse - the name of this blog is derived from my view on a habit of mine...When it comes to something food related, I often act on impulse and tend to consume something I see and want there and then. Not always a good thing, but that is not to say I haven't gained any pleasure out of it either. Experiences are variable, but that is to be expected with all things.
I'm not into over the top cuisine, just simple dishes made from fresh ingredients which looks appealing (though not fancy miniscule art deco type of plate), just a well presented bowl of food which looks like what it is supposed to look like, and tastes as good as it looks. I not only look for this when I go out, but i aim to achieve this when I cook for myself.
Yes, I have to admit when I am busy, tired or just plain too lazy I do resort to, dare I say pre-made meals) but I do try and choose the best ones within my budget an do always accompany this with a freshly made salad which I make.
I do have a weakness for sweets, but again if I have to pay a bit more for something that is better than it's cheaper substitute, I will pay that bit more. Because it is worth it. Why buy something substandard just to save a dollar or two. If you are buying something you want to indulge in, INDULGE and the extra dollar or two you spent will not even come to mind.
So that to me is my interpretation of Impulse

Welcome to Orble. I love food. I love everything about food. And like you, if I'm indulging, then I spend the extra dollar or two to make sure it's the best!
