One Too Many Chocolate Bars - And so it begins

The First Day is the Hardest

Today is the day... the dreaded Day One. It didn't really help matters that I didn't get as early a night as I'd wanted (darn Smallville and it's addiction), that my little monkey monster decided that 3.30am was a good time to wake us up and then decide he wanted to read his books... all of them and then to be woken up at 6am. So today I'm just a teeny weeny bit tired and tired Sarah wants junk food.

But I'm resisting. I had a healthy breakfast of fruit (a small tin of pears quarters) and I even managed to get in some exercising before having to leave for the playshool run. Exercises so far today consist of:


100 Step Ups
20 Sit Ups
20 Press Ups
20 Squats
20 leg lifts/per leg (I have no idea what this exercise actually is but it's me lifting my leg to the side and holding for a couple seconds)
Oh and the brisk walk to and from playschool which is 15 minutes each way.

It's a nice sunny day today and if the rain holds off I may consider going over the park this afternoon to have a run around.

Also I suppose I should state my weight as I weighed in today. I've decided I'll have two days a week as a weigh in, Fridays and Tuesdays. So todays weight was 17 stone and 7 lbs... I can't be bothered to work out the whole lbs weight but I will do later.

This is very inspiring, i'm also trying to lose weight. My biggest temptation is caffene, I've cut down on sodas, but the coffee and chocolates has to go. It really is so darn hard. I wish you luck, sounds like you're doing pretty well.

Hiya Hope.

Thank you. You're welcome to pop by and let me (us) know how you're doing with your diet, or just to rant or swap tips etc. Are you following a certain diet or doing (like me) your it your own way?

Luckily I've never liked coffee so I don't have the caffene temptation too much but oh my god CHOCOLATE!!! I can't help myself.

Sadly I failed at the weekend with the diet as hubby forgot I had started my diet and bought a load of chocolate for me and our son and I just can't sit there and leave chocolate in the fridge, it has to be eaten. LOL. I have been fairly good since though, no chocolate. My other big bad is bread and butter, if allowed I could probably get through a whole loaf in a day of course with plenty of butter.

I wish you luck in your diet and please stop by again and let me know how it is going.

That's a pretty good work out you got going there.

20 leg lifts/per leg
These should help your outer thigh.

Thank you, I did stop doing those (more from the fact that Callum thought it was fun to try and sit on the leg being lifted) but I'm going to try and get back to do them, maybe I'll just have to do them when he's asleep.
