The Divine Warming Comedy

If I would have a reason to finally say that we really need to control the climate which we really can't control, this would be it. It has been affecting BEER quality since 1954. The quality of hops has fallen in major beer regions of Europe. In other words, the hops aren't worth adding them to the beer because alpha acid has dropped since 1954. I guess this is what gives great pilsner lagers their bitter taste.
I bet beer drinkers haven't noticed any difference. There are still drunks in the Czech Republic, Germany, and England to name a few. I'm not a big fan of hop dominated beers, but I have had a few recently that have a great potency and bitterness.
Even if the study is something to worry about, it will probably heal itself from this global warming phenomenon. Man didn't create it and can't stop it. Enjoy your beer and don't worry about it.
Cheers!
