Politcal and Social Ramblings - by Sarah 1

The Current Status Of Politics: Understand the Rules OF Politcal Foreplay

March 31st 2007 08:07
To Win in Politics you must Play Politics, John Howard, G.W. Bush, Morris Gemma ....etc They understands this fundamental concept. As they will do whatever it takes to win. That is because they know how to play to win, even if that means misleading voters, the public and the media. It explains why politicians win elections even when they have a low approval rating dsiplayed by the public and evident everyday polls, specifically prior to state and federal elections. I would label this as a type of neo-politcal strategy to win, yet that would be a false assertion, as this type of strategic political-mentality has been used for centuries in all realm of social and politcal walks of life. From Plato (by reasserting the belief that women had no place in political forums by oppressing and restraining them to domestic sphere , to the Shakepearan Era whereby anti-semitism originated, operated and spreaded as social norm). As it seems the origins of such beliefs continue to be spread in the current and present 21st century. This might explain why women remain as the minority within the politcal sphere and prominent jewish politcal are seldom in the social sphere, just a thought. So next time you go to the voting and deciding who youre going to vote for as yourself why are voting for this person or political party and what is making vote this way. Is it their leadership that you aspire, their campaigning for example how they present themselves e.g. dress, formal presentation, use of rhetoric, how they explain justifying their policies, or is it how they handle their leadership in times of crisis, or is it for the reason that their no good opposition being presented.
