The Natural Order - by signals

The Cooling of Global Warming

October 25th 2009 15:21
I have to keep repeating myself and telling my stance on global warming. I believe that it is a natural phenomenon and man has very little, if anything, to do with it. Therefore, man cannot control it. Through history, science, and just talking to old farmers, you sometimes find that earth tends to regulate itself without man's help.

I spoke about how in the 1800s the earth's temperatures dropped due to a couple of massive volcanic eruptions in Indonesia. In the early and mid 1900s we thought we were heading towards another Ice Age. Now, much like the weather, we are complaining that it is too hot.

I wrote about how nature is being effected because of man's conservative ways. This may be where man does have his hands in this global warming fad. Animals find easy meals wherever there is man. Many have no natural predators and are becoming overpopulated and overweight and lazy. Geese no longer seem to fly south to warmer climates. With overpopulation comes the spread of disease, that may affect humans. This discussion can be endless.

I have no problem in mixing the Bible with science as long as you keep a perspective on both. If the Bible says that the world will end, I believe that it will end. When? Well maybe we need to realize that we are on God's timeline, not man's. Could be in a minute or another 10000 years. Who really knows? Man didn't create it, and man can't stop it. Live your life and don't worry about it is my philosophy.

I have looked at the whole matter with much skepticism when people quote scientists and there findings. You're missing the point if you don't see that there are scientific arguments about global warming from both sides of the debate. There is scientific data to back up the man-caused die-hards, just as there is data to go the other way. In science, it's all about the funding. If a theory can't be proven in someway, then you lose your funding, and that is the bottom line.

I have seen how politicians get involved with their 'do as I say, not as I do' attitude. When politicians get involved, everything will cost you in the long run. Turning greener means spending more money in the long run.

Yes we can discuss and argue about global warming until the earth ends naturally, but in the US, the global warming belief is starting to cool. Global warming alarmists are nothing more than those doom-sayers of the past, who stood on the corners each day to predict that the world will end tomorrow. Thanks to technology, they have become more credible and respectable. The only thing the Kyoto Protocol has accomplished is imposing fines on nations that don't meet their unrealistic carbon emissions reduction. In the US the fines will be passed to the already taxed-to-death taxpayer!
