The Advancement of the Internet - TODAY footage from 1994

It's hard to believe this footage from TODAY in the US is only from 1994 and I had already finished school (insert "feels old" HERE). Considering that 17yrs after this footage was recorded we rely on the internet and email more than we do on phones and that now about 50% of people do not even have home phones.

Today Show, internet, technological advances



It's amazing how this interweb thing took off, I shudder as to what will be the next big thing in the next 17yrs (insert "feeling incredibly old").

That's pretty funny. Back in 1994 Bryan Gumbel left the studios after that show and climbed into his Studebaker car with the fins. Then he went home and listened to old radio shows. I think Bob Hope was the president back then.
