The 2007 Formula 1 Drivers
November 27th 2006 14:38
How will 2007 look whithout Michael Schumacher??? Everybody is asking this question... With the teams making a lot of moves concerning drivers and everybody running after talents in Formula 1, the 2007 Sesion has every chance of being a very big surprise for all the F1 fans around the world!!!
Guys ...here is how the Teams look now:
1. Renault continue to trust italian Giancarlo Fisichela and have replaced Two Time World Champion F. Alonso with Finn Heikki Kovalainen
2. As you already know Ferrari is relying on Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa... both drivers already having their eyes on the 2007 World Title... No surprise there... having in mind that Ferrari has the most experience with Bridgestone tires... the only tyre supplier for the 2007 Season
3. McLaren have recently confirmed Lewis Hamilton as Fernando Alonso`s TeamMate and are looking forward for the tests to see their new driver on track...
4.Toyota will rely for next season, as they did in 2006, on german Ralf Schumacher and Jarno Trulli
5.Alexander Wurz will make a Formula 1 comeback this year, joining Rosberg at Williams
6. Mark Webber after a dissapointing 2006 Season, both for him and his fans, will join David Coulthard at RedBull
7. Honda will trust Barrichello and british Jenson Button for another year... in what they hope to be a winning team
8. Sauber will have the same drivers as last year: Nick Heidfeld and new talent Robert Kubica which has replaced former Formula 1 World Champion Jacques Villeneuve last season... having a great result in Italy where he managed to take 3rd place in the race, at Monza...
9. Spyker will rely on Albers and Monteiro
10. Toro Rosso will work with Scott Speed and Liuzzi
11. And Super Aguri will count on Anthony Davidson and Tacuma Sato... hope you get some points this year guys...
Surprises may appear in what concerns next year`s drivers line-up... but for now the Teams has showed us that fighting hard for both Titles next year: Drivers Championship and Constructors Championship... is a must...
110 days and the Testing has begun ... I will keep you informed on how the Teams manage to adapt to Bridgestone, how the Cars will perform having the new changes in regulations... and also how the New Arrivals in Formula 1 are going to behave on Track...
Have a great day, F1 Fans!!!

Also I will keep an eye on Kovalainen which many say that he has great potential and that he is a great talent ... and from what I`ve been researching about him i Think he`ll make the Renault forget Alonso in a year or two!!!
Also Hamilton will have a very hard year in front of him and he needs a trumendous amount of luck and talent to rise up to the team expectations and also to the results of his Team Mate Alonso!!!
The year I know for a fact that is going to be very interesting and I`m looking forward for the first race!!!
Have Fun
Thanks for the comment
