beyond reason
April 3rd 2007 15:05
according to a behavior assessment tool, i am of a conserving-holding on lifestyle preference. which means i am methodical and systematic. which also means i have passion for reason. indeed, i never do anything nor go anywhere deliberately unprepared. if something occurs that isn't part of my master plan, i won't let it squeeze into my schedule.
i plan for middle term goals; i think short-term goals are too volatile, i think long-term goals are too idealistic.
i hate surprises. they have this uncanny way of unsettling my thoughts. although i like to think of myself as spontaneous enough... but even my spontaneous outbursts are in truth carefully placed statements in pre-conceived situations.
i most certainly do not work better under pressure.
i do not take pride in busy jobs. i do not consider overtime an indication of hard work. i think overtime means i did not perform my job in the most conscientious manner possible during the regular working hours. otherwise, the job is thankless; and this should be cause enough for higher pay-grade. frustration is an expensive feeling.
but nothing could prepare me for this kid in my belly. despite the serious threat on his life, he has managed to hang on for dear life. literally.
i wish it's a boy. and his name is jack.

the cat with the fiddle
yes, i am pregnant. i almost lost it last week, but ultrasound showed it has clung on hard enough. it might as well be the "alien" type, because the doctors before have explained to me that, with my condition, it's very improbable that i get pregnant. but here it is. surprise, surprise.
i think jack is cool name. jack sparrow. jack black. jack the pumpkin-head. jack(ie) chan.
