2.5. Placing "above" and "below"

2.5.1. What is "social placing".

We are coming to consider one of the basic aspects of competent communication - the principle of placing or the position which a man takes up during any conversation. Probably you have noticed that it is always very easy to distinguish a socially established person who holds prominent position in a manner of behaviour, speaking, movements and sitting. Perhaps you remark some unusual state inside yourself when such man is entering the room: there is arousing an impulse to brace up, nearly to stand bolt upright. An internal vibration is beginning, strange inner excitement. It means that this socially established person excites very specific and character reaction in people around him only by his appearance. Moreover, the reaction is coming even when this person does not say a word: something in his external makes impossible to ignore or to disrespect him. Such man inspires respect by his movements only. The most amazing thing is that everyone is able to produce such effect! It is necessary just to know how it works, to know the basics on which it appears. So, at the beginning we will talk about what actually gives the skill to operate on people around in such way during communication.

If someone looks on the communication of two men and tries to check the moment when some crucial point in the talks comes, when initiative moves from one of them to another - he will easily find that at that critical moment as if the roles are given parts. One man who holds initiative is getting cool. In some measure he starts to analogize with before mentioned persons. On the contrary, another one begins to bustle and "thrill". Though it may seem strange or hurtful for logic and intellect, but exactly nonverbal positioning is the key moment of communication, it is that entry through behaviour and appearance into the image of the leader who has a great internal dignity. It may be said that communicative game is going precisely for this right of entry into this state. The case is not in mind, erudition, scholarship, or correct composition of speech. Finally everything is settled by the ability to express this position nonverbally therewith own body.

Explanation of this situation that may seem paradoxical for cultured minds is not in the fields of logic and ware interconnections but on the level of unconsciou, so to speak in its bosom. Whatever we talk about the high nature of a man, to a same degree he relates to the animal world being amenable to basic rules of its "low" nature on the level of instinct. It means that the man, as every creature, going round about his mind, receives his own "special code" of signals from beings around him, and obeys these signals as well. Therefore, a man whatever strong minded, cultured he is, not always can act beyond instincts, downloaded by nature. Sometimes he may be successful in mastering of some known instinctive impulses as survival instinct, sexual instinct etc., but it is impossible for him to overcome more delicate, hidden and mostly unknown "games of unconscious".

Thereby, let's remember that each animate being that uses to live in community of similar beings, always differs in some way a leader from others. He gives the leader full mastership, goes away from a struggle and acknowledges his dominance. We may constate the analogical fact on the level of unconscious motives of human behaviour: even the ordinary communication includes the principle of identification of the leader who strikes the keynote of whole interaction.

Naturally, one may ask how a man unconsciously identifies the leader in other man, differs him from others. What is the main signal on the level of unconscious interactions (exchange of nonverbal signals) due to cast the roles of interconnections?

If we address to the history we will find that through the ages the nurture of people of the governing classes, pertaining to the manner of interacting with others, was fundamentally different from the behaviour for which the people of lower-class were educated. The example of Russian aristocracy is very demonstrative. From the early childhood the main principle of education was the requirement "not to bow", reducing to an absurdity "not to bow even to the bullets". Modern man may find it as a whim or not more than the expression of dignity, but "skill not to bow" is indeed the mechanism that helps to distinguish the leader from the others.

The fact is that this mechanism is related to the inner self-acceptance of a man and his attitude towards society around him. Skill "not to bow" tells primarily that the man makes decisions himself and his decisions are more important for him than one’s opinions and estimations.

When the conversation runs on the communication between two persons in particular in the field of professional activity, during negotiations people often use such words as "to crush opponent", "to break", they use so-called "power" or "sports semantics". One may often hear the talk about someone that he "grovels" to another one, toadies, "crawls" to the chief, opponent; and about the other man that he was "on the top", "rode the whirlwind". Other words if the first man "places below" the companion, the second one "places above".
Precisely, these are two states, which in the EFSI are named as placing "above" and placing "below", which are the prize from one side and loss from other side of all communicative game. If one man is placed "above" in communication it means that the others are placed "below".

It is very important moment in communication. Whatever amount of people are its participants, only one of them may be a leader, only one may place "above". It may seem "unjust", but fact remains that there is only one leader in communication. The other side of the shield is that communication is always developing and placings of people may be changing, but there can not be more than one leader in current moment. If two persons in a group hold the leader positions at the same time, there will be a split in a group sooner or later.

Thus, only one man in any group comes to the first position, his leadership is conditioned by his most clear and forceful placing "above" pertaining to the others. This is the way how people qualify this man as a "fugleman", the leader of communication who is able to retain and consolidate his "supreme" position during conversation. It was mentioned above that this ability is not a product of more developed intellect, beauty of inner world etc. Correct set of the head, skill to show poise in company and hold position with the image of the leader often win any high intellectual preparation. So, let's "add" to education and professional skills the skill of becoming a leader of communication, which means to hold initiative of conversation gaining intended aims.

Placing "above" is a right to be a master of the situation on the physical territory. It means that a man who holds a position of the leader in communication has a right to make his own decisions that will be certainly accepted by the others. If we remember that right for own choice is the essential condition of self-realization as a personality, it comes clear that a man who is able to manage initiative of the conversation not only becomes a leader of conversation but receives a right to approve his individuality in society. Exactly this right to be self is the import of struggle for initiative. Exactly the skill to be self even in ordinary communication, to make own decisions is the base of self-fulfillment in society. If a man even in conversation loses his personality, follows the opinions of the others, it will be very difficult for him to be himself in more complicated questions. It may be said that precisely the skill of placing in communication is the base of all others. It is impossible to win in some big deal if there is a loss in a small one.

2.5.2. The criteria of "placings": basement of self-respect and right for personal opinion

The placing "above" is fixed in a poise of the head: the neck is always erect and unbraced. I do notice that it should not be "hard-pumped" and toughened, but relaxed and upright. Excess muscles or permanent control of the neck shows the contrary, the potential addiction of placing "below".

In order to understand the state of placing "above", just imagine that you are sitting in a comfortable armchair at home, reclining your head on the pillow in a relaxed posture. If you do that, you will check that there is appearing a composure inside you, crossing over to the absolute indifference to anything around, as if you are not interested what is even on TV and seem to be away.

This state is characterized by as follows: own emotions and thoughts are placed in the forefront. That's why exactly in this condition a man is able to analyze maximally effective everything that happens around and make own decisions, which are not generated by external actions. It may be said that a man becomes master of himself only when he learns the mechanics of placing "above".

I shall notice thereupon that precisely expression of own individuality and own lifestyle formation is the main task of the EFSI. So there is no wonder that own inner emotions are standing in the first place in SFERO ("SFERO Conception: of the Rules on the Formation of occasions", author Sergey Kronin, published in Moscow, 2006), and they are reflected in outward. It can be readily understood that concerning placing "below" the matter stands on contrary: a man feels emotions which are induced by outward. It means that a man who lives in "placing below" is firstly perceptive to the external actions that cause emotions from him as if they strike sparks out of flint. In that case the psychological view about the antecedence of external actions is objectively right.

When a man self-confidently holds position of placing "above", his speech is unimpassioned and unhurried, his intonations are assured and univocal, the quality of a voice is full, like man speaks using whole capacity of his lungs. The main criteria are a straight neck and relaxed body, and permanent inner comfort: physical, emotional and mental.

On the contrary, the placing "below" is determined by pinched neck, bending in front or hunching, as if a man is always bowing and too actively wagging his head and neck. It may be said that he moves his head too much from side to side, as if he is incommoded by something and tries to sleep off this feeling and shake it off from the head. Hence it appears a feeling of pressure and distinctive of poise of the head, that is characterized for placing below: as if a man unsuccessfully tries to up some burden by his head that lies on it. So, main states of this placing are feelings of self-pity, anxiety, bustle, whereof man gets these characteristic tones of yammering and crying of his voice.

These whimpering and crying tones of voice are amplified because all muscles of neck are pinched. This state evokes feeling of own insufficiency that calls forth inner conflict often adjoining with inner nerve storm.

I will notice that manifestation of significance means inability to come out of continual state of placing "below". Speech of such man alternates to a cry, raising his voice. As usual inner dissatisfaction pours out as blames on somebody for problems: a man who gets used to place "below" has always someone who is to blame but not himself.

Placing "below" always means standing on unfamiliar territory, it is a playing game with foreign rules. If we look deeper into the extramental motives of a man, we will find that inability of placing "above" shows potential wish to obey. That's why socially prosperous men who get used to communicate with people from the placing "above" can easily define whether there is an equal person or a potential auxiliary. They may simply look on man and feel how he "places" to them.

State of placing "below" may be characterized as self-association with opponent. Man is always conducted, wishes of other men are more important for him than his own purposes, wishes, states, problems; he associates himself with them absolutely. The most calamitous thing for individuality of a man who places "below" is that he is always bound up in somebody. Other words he finds important everything that is important for opponent but not for himself. So we may say that this man has only a fancy that he has own wishes and aims, actually these are wishes and aims of a man, below which he places. So, habit of placing "below" provokes displacement of own wishes by wishes of other man.

Surely, placing "below" is very effective in some confined professional contexts, for example some special forms of psychotherapy. It's clear: a client should feel comfortable and psychotherapist should not hold him under; otherwise how a client can say what he is anxious about. However it were a great mistake to transfer therapeutic placing (when we syntonize on other man's values, semantics and rhythm voluntary) to other contexts of ordinary communication. Most people do not understand that, but exactly "professional" placing "below" is a reason of impossibility of reaching own aims and as result self-realizing in life.
If we remember that communication is a game for holding initiative, it becomes clear that if you have "lied down under opponent" in such way that you have begun to repeat his postures, to speak and breathe in his rhythm, it actually designates total loss of your even own body sensations. So you have admitted his significance more important than your own, you have voluntary given him initiative. Don't conceit yourself with illusions that your opponent has become more conversable; he has just given up to sensate a deserving competitioner in you. In actual fact he has lost all respect to you and began to use you as a comfortable person in order to think audibly about result of a conversation that he is interested in. If we heed the fact that any habit is becoming to be fixed on the level of physiology and mind programs, we will find that if a man begins to play in a game of placing "below" in behalf of better rapport, he gradually loses any ability to interact with people in other way. As a result, all his life, affairs become by degress a devotion to someone, realization of someone's tasks but not his own. People who place in communication in such way often say that after such "placing" they start to lead. They may think whatever they want, but when a man has already held placing "below" he automatically begins to play on opponent's rules without even understanding this fact. All it all, they may think that they lead their opponent somewhere. Actually they lead him to the fast realization of his tasks but not their own. As far as at that moment they lose themselves, and it occur a replacement of aims which is invisible for them, and they are sure that opponent's interest is their own.
In this connection, it is important to understand that real life and "life in laboratory conditions" are different things. People may hate, fear, love, be anxious about a man who places "above", but they acknowledge him as individuality and respect him. Moreover when an important decision is making this man will be firstly counted, he will get social prize. People may love a man who places "below", find him as a bright and interesting companion, but they will not respect him as a personality. It is nice to talk with him not because he is a individuality but he is very useful as a listener for telling him own thoughts. That's why as far as people do not respect this man, when it comes to the serious decision on profit distribution or any other important issue they remember about him only at last moment. Even if all work was done by this person, all bonuses will be divided between those who place "above", and those who place "below" will get only the rest.

It should be understood, that placing "below" is accepted by people as a lack of self-respect. A man who does not respect himself does not deserve to be respected by the others - he is not a personality for them. In my praxis I get used to reckon with consequences of this hurtful habit of placing "below", when an "aggrieved" man is complaining about inequity, saying that he was "betrayed" or people do not respect him. Such man does not understand that he has generated this effect firstly by his habit of permanent placing “below” even from the best motives.

So, every man who has a task to realize all his potential in social life, to express all his individuality in society, has to make a choice either to expostulate on inequity of people, being occupied by deciding and listening of problems of the others, or to apply all his skills for realizing own aims and wishes. I think it’s clear that for the last purpose it is necessary to learn how to hold a leadership position during communicating with other people.

It is necessary to mark such thing. When a man makes something for other people from placing "below", whatever motives he has, they will never esteem all his sacrifices and efforts but they will take it as a normal thing, often scorning. So, at all severity of the law about placings "below" and "above", exactly placing "above" gives an opportunity to make clear for the others what you are doing for them. In this case only it can be talked about gratefulness.

2.5.3. Technique of "placing above"

So, placing "above" is concerned with least physical activity and maximum possibility of thinking independently. Placing "below" is concerned with full physical mobility and maximum absorption in states, thoughts and feelings of opponent. If we remember that communication is managed by the most immobile element, it may be understood that all damage of placing "below' means voluntary donation of initiative. If we consider why a lot of people continue to place "below" we will meet so called compensatory mechanism. If a man feels shaky and he is afraid that nobody will listen to him, he begins to be bustle up in order to allay fears by external mobility and to create thus an illusion that he communicates properly. It is clear that this point of view is far from reality.

Moreover, if you has jammed up into placing "below" from the first step in communication, i.e. you were "appressed", depressed, at least in this communication you have no chance to intercept initiative. It is impossible to go abruptly out of placing "below" to the placing "above" voluntarily.

In this connection it is necessary to understand importance and responsibility of the preparative stage of communication. A man, who does not heed "preparative" moment, hardly sizes up the situation, acts emotionally and as a result he is already "below". That is not the case of will or logic, at this moment instinctive mechanisms begin to functionate, you have not even understood what a man is in front of you but at the level of instincts you has already deserved him as a "leader". Now you may do whatever you want, try to use the most cunning techniques, but it won’t change anything in this talk. Moreover, the more you will do active actions, the more your placing "below" will aggravate. That is this case when any active action and expression of will play against you. I will notice that the only manner to get out the situation is to stop emotional communication….

I suggest considering it globally: what is business in a body of modern humanity?
Every one of people is a personality. So, humanity consists of the billions of personalities, as like as a body consists of cells. Therefore, let us consider this nonmaterial conformation "humanity" as an organism. What is business doing there? What role does it play?

It's clear that on the primitive level its role is in providing people's material needs: production of goods and services. If we take a broad view of the issue, we find that it is due to trade relationships or economics the interactions between people are occurring, and different branches and areas or activities are appearing. It means that business in that case is a power that forms "organs" in a "body" of humanity. Thus, business ties up people of whole society with each other, gives them possibility to interact on some concrete topic and provides material part of their lives (as if it carries nutrients to cells). So, what is happening now from that position? At the very low level we have overproduction of everything, i.e. people are sated with production. It is produced much more than they are able to consume. So, the "cells" are becoming "fat", sedentary, inactive, and incapable of procreation. Thus, it's happening something that is called "mental degradation"- a clipped mind - ability to take only the form of information and inability to understand its essence. It means that from the position of quantitative production the business (economics) has reached its maximum and begun to do scathe to the "body" of humanity: the principles of communication between "cells-people" began to be broken. Already everyone is sitting in his office, connecting in restricted group of people, becoming tired at work. In actual fact it is the crisis of modern man's loneliness: the system of material glut of life is bedded in so perfectly that redundant "transactions" are being cut automatically. It means that economical growth has brought us to the palsied "body" of humanity. In fact, the body of humanity today is some very fat, immovable and inert creature.

Let's take a look from the other side. Any "body", it doesn't matter if it's a man or an animal, has its own mission in a world. The meaning of his life is not only in eating food. This part is essential and necessary but not the main. Having a good feed the creature has to do something - to make himself useful or at least to interact with the world around him. If he only eats without even making a move, rarely having a spasm of regular indigestion - social or economical collapse, such creature in nature is a parasite that has stuck to something or someone. Thereafter, if a creature was destined for some work, but was overfed and became incapable of anything, the "makers" have to step in and organize a sort of "spotting": a gastric lavage as an example, or they compel him to go in for sports. It is in order to make creature to get down to his work that he has been created for.

Humanity was created not for simply "scoffing". Being full it has to grow mentally. It means to develop at the level of the reason. And from that position it has to make "black and detailed" work on the planet: build, clean, explore the outer space, settle other worlds etc.
Thus, economics, and business as its main power, have reached the "organic" limit. The core is that exactly business (economics) comes to the front of man's life attention. It is a point on which all man's thoughts and wishes are focused. As a matter of fact it is a haemal system of "body" of humanity. Business is a "pump" that brings blood with nutrients all over the organism and nourishes the "cells" of people. And no more. Imagine that you don't go outdoors, leave off moving, are always eating, and all your thoughts are concentrated on how full you are. That is the condition of society today.

And is there nothing except economics? There are mental fields: arts, science...But in our society they are "secondary". At the first place stands namely economics.
But exactly these fields contain the brains of "humanity's body", and they should be functional as well. It means that food should be carried to them too. I think that food should be carried primarily to the brains, but what about accumulation of fat... it goes then. Concerning the body of humanity in society the brains are at the second place. So, it occurs that brains are atrophying and belly is growing. It is clear that it must be a shake from "above" to remind what the humanity exists for.

Well, so about the business. From the point of global processes most of organizations (it must have been 99,999% of all existing) are valueless and not interesting for anyone. It is nearly as at the sea beach. The only grain of sand is itself not worth much but only the whole beach is valuable. There is a mass of such successful and large organizations (leave alone the others) and from the point of "organicity of society" they are worth in current situation. And they were worth till the moment when due to them society has been "amassing fat". It means that they were solving two low tasks; they were feeding and connecting people. Exactly the low tasks. And only few of them were feeding the brains. They thought that their task was namely "collecting of fat", and at best the "brains" were obtaining the occasional dole; such organizations financed the concert of an artist for their own advertisement, or bought a bus for a children's home.

From the point of global processes these organizations do not exist. They do not serve the humanity to solve its main task: growth not only in "kilos" but mentally.

So, I think it is not necessary to discuss about the "global" reasons of today crisis. That is quite clear. In social life we see only the consequence of force of that law. The organizations which are excrescent for the "keep" of the "body" are demolishing. Those who are worth for the "humanity's body" are filling up with energy. Those are valuable who are "feeding the brains" which are also a part of the body and not the worse one. Thus, with the glance from above the meaning of existence of business is in filling the "brains of a body" of humanity with energy, and only then the other organs. The sequence is precisely as follows: organization is being created to be worth for the "mental" part of the humanity, to join people together and let them to interact with each other; and then it profits over financial operations (production, factorship, services). In that case such organization has right to exist and has a strategic import for the humanity. For example it promotes a new trend in painting or sculpture that will exist next thousand years. It means that organization is beginning to work for the panhuman history. It's obvious that energy will go to it. So, relation to the creative people is of critical importance, although it is not the direct worth and is not clear for the mind of economist and ordinary businessman. It is always said about social responsibility of business, I’m talking on the historical one. It is also obvious that the only "energy" is not enough. It is necessary to build a structure.

It means to create an organism of a company, to vitalize it, to grow it. It needs energy and surely the knowledge how to do it. What a trouble, knowledge of today management and marketing can not actually solve that task. I will make a consequence. I will define the place of viable organization in a body of society: an organization in spite of field of its activity - construction, oil, metals - which is existing in order to support life of some mental structure of society is historically valuable and has enough "chances of situation" for survival and further revival. Otherwise, existence of concrete organization is aimless and not unique. It supports only low functions of "body" of humanity and in this light there is evidential and unquestionable glut of similar companies of any size.

2.1.1 "Subspecies" of the Beggars

Now we may constant that there are two "subspecies" of the Beggars: the Ghosts and the Spirits. We have talked mostly about the Ghosts, because there are a lot of them in society. I remind that they were named as the Ghosts on reason that their behaviour was similar to madding ghosts and they were absent in social system. Meanwhile, like the ghosts they have affection towards social goods and can't get off the ground. They look like the fairy characters that are "tied" to the ground, the ghosts who guard the treasure. That's why we call them Goblins on the reason of some mystic similarity of their behaviour, organization of the body, manner of intercommunication to these mythical personages: big, looking like a rock, loud-spoken, not very polite, to say the least. I think it is not necessary to put the cases. Everybody may remember such person from experience; it could be the neighbor, chief, relative, officer... They are always somewhere round here. But these are the "grown" Ghosts. The great amount of young adults from the "poor outland districts", or in the western countries "emigrant districts" are already educated in Beggars' spirit. Behaviour of these teenagers group reminds me the Gremlins, the crowds of "dwarfish goblins" which are also the characters from the fairy tales. Riots in Paris and Denmark remind me behaviour exactly of Gremlins. Truly, every time I am wondering at the resemblance of these negative "fairy personages" to the Beggars' characteristics. When Gremlins grow up they ";individualize", as it is possible to say in their case, and become Goblins. It was the "little goblins", by the way, who were "revolutionary vanguards" of many dictatorships in every epoch.

The second group of the Beggars is the Spirits. This name is taken from the mysticism: the "lost souls" are wandering near our world on the reason that they are driven by some passion. These are the souls of self-murderers, voluptuaries. They "come" during the spiritualistic séances, that's why they have this name. If we believe the myths, the cause of their ghastly state is that if they want to escape from the eternal suffering they need the physical body which they do not have. After being embodied they may decide their problems and continue the "karmic" cycle. So, in distinction from Goblins they are not interested in finance, property of the other man. They are interested in his vital time and "body". We may say that they originally use the other person for solving their problems.

As a rule, there are more Goblins among men and there are more Spirits among women. Spirit is generally a very intelligent, talented person of great likelihood but always very ill. Her behaviour is anguished; she accuses the man who cares about her of her pathetic fate thereby causing a sensation of guilt. Spirits are allegedly ready to leave the man to go away. But before that they cause so strong feeling of guilt that the other man can not leave the Spirit to die. In reality, a man doesn't notice that all his thoughts, deals, free and vital time become dedicated to complying with Spirit's wishes. The last one is lying at home and quietly dieing. Sometimes she rarely goes out. Regularly she demonstrates her creative skills but never realizes it. It looks like she is always proving to the person whom she uses that she is so creative individuality, but very unhappy. As a result, she is simply "eating" the life of the other man.

From the position of physical danger the Spirits are harmless. They do not threat, but only use a sentiment of pity of the other man. But from the position of loosing self as an Essence, the things are more dangerous. Actually they attach their Essence to the "body" of the other man extruding his own Essence to the space between the worlds. As a result, Spirit may be solves her problems but the man, who takes care about her, is not able to decide his vital tasks; he doesn't catch to pass his vital lessons. As a result, a man loses self. It may be said that Spirits "move" into a man.

Surely they have their own "instrument", which they use to attach the other man to themselves so strongly. I would say that they precisely read the ";level of belief" of a man. For example you have got a thought that there is conscious dreaming. At that moment the Spirit is revealing a secret to you that she was having conscious dreams for a long time but up to this moment has never told anyone about it. But that is from field of mysticism. It may be any other topic. For example, you've got a thought that you would like to build a house. At that moment the Spirit declares that she wants to live in the country. You are amazed how inwardly sympathetic you are to this person, there is much affinity between both of you, and it is so wonderful that this person thinks and wants the same thing as you. After that, try to leave this man if he needs a help. If you ever think about it, you will fret yourself to death by the twinges of remorse. Meanwhile, the spirits, periodically in order to "increase the effect", awake from somnambulistic, suffering state and get into a tantrum without any factual causes. Then they explain that the cause was that they suddenly felt useless, they were not wanted here and abandoned. These tantrums are spontaneous, "bright", sometimes with breaking dishware and "scratching of faces". It keeps the husband in suspense. The explanations of causes of tantrum provoke his "tears of compassion". So, this husband who is noways to blame, intelligent and polite, who loves her wife, is sitting on the mountain of broken dishes with scratched face, embracing and becalming his wife, who is coming round. He is asking not to "leave him", proving her how much he needs her and sobbing over her difficult fate. And during all his life he is afraid even to move. Perhaps, he may deal a blow at her again and she blows her cool again. That is their life.

There is an interesting thing that they may quickly recover from "sickness"; under certain conditions that force the Spirits to struggle for survival.

But it is relative recovering from "sickness"before the next "body" with "whom" she will have a lot of "common" hopes, views, and interests and "who" will undertake responsibility for her. Though, the Goblin will never recover neither temporarily nor "everlastingly". For recovering a man must want it. But there are no conditions that may force the Goblin to wish to "stop to be a goblin".

So, it's better not to have any dealings with the Beggars, but to "recognize them on their way". But information about existence of this level is obtained by the man, as a rule, at the moment when he has already got some dealings with them. Often and often the interconnections with the Beggar may be so close, that the man may have no chances to escape. Reread the book or watch the film "The heart of a dog". Michail Bulgakov completely but in a softly form described the model of behaviour and actions of the Beggar, Poligraph Poligraphovich Sharikov. Bulgakov amazingly precisely seized the essence of that level.

He showed the futility of the attempts of professor Preobrazhensky to become free himself from his creature Sharikov. He artistically showed the model of behaviour and methods of the Beggar's actions. Meanwhile, Bulgakov even showed the progress of the Beggar from the "animal state"; to the state of a "big man", his developing ability to mimicry, imitation of the increasingly higher social levels. But it is a literary composition where Preobrazhensky could revert Beggar back to the "dog state" when he had understood that Sharikov had been not only just wrecking his nerves and pretending to the housing space, but preparing his "legal physical liquidation". In real life "Sharikov" generally achieves his purpose. Bulgakov has caught the moment that the Beggar "rounds up" his victim from all the sides, and as in match game gives checkmate. Truly, the Beggar always anticipates all possible moves that his victim can make and he is always ahead. Sharikov didn't anticipate only one thing, the possibility to revert him back to the "dog state". This only unanticipated possibility was used by Preobrazhensky. It is clear that genre required to right a wrong at the end of a composition. But real life differs from artistic; it has not so many "imaginational' possibilities. That's why the victim has poor choice neither to subdue to Beggar (actually, it will not help), nor to die, sometimes physically as well.

I can "cheer up" that almost everyone may find in his surrounding, among relatives or colleagues, the Beggar, who sometimes is "not activated". That's why this topic of the Beggars concerns actually everyone. A husband given to drink, workless, who is sitting at home all days long, laying on the bed, requiring better food, care, love. An inadequate wife, who is suffering from a disease for years and getting into a tantrum or being depressed, blaming her husband for her state, and requiring from him "to do something" to improve her life. An insistent and inadequate relative who requires you to place him in a good situation, vouch in bank for his ability to pay, start a business with him. At the same time he has neither relevant education, nor intelligence quotient for some post or common dealings. A stray acquaintance, who has a mass of contacts in the "highest quarters", can help you to "pull off a deal" quickly and inexpensive. A former schoolmate after a long time conceived a passion for you and actively started to govern your destiny. A chief-Goblin, relative of a company's owner or co-founder, humiliates the staff and spoils organization by his significance and incompetence. There are mass of different variants and sometimes very sudden. It may be even the chiefs of large organizations, and it is rare.

But if you "got in trouble" I may say the following: don’t come up against the Beggars. You should keep social distance and use only legal methods. Affirm in every case all your agreements in documents. The only instrument that may unscramble situation is the Attitude: to look at the factual moves, behaviour and actions of a man. For thinking a way out of trouble you may use only the work with Situation. The common methods of linear intercommunications are doomed to failure; you will make the things worse only.

So, today Temperology is the only direction of thought that has examined enough the level of the Beggars. And only Temperology has the instrument that allows securing all guarantees from this level including the Attitude and the Mental Positioning. System of the EFSI (the Effective Formation of a Social Individuality - note of translator) was built when I "discovered” the Beggars' existence as a special "subspecies". Nobody and nothing except Temperology can do something with this level, because on reason that all directions are based on the humanistic and psychological positions.

One may play a game of development, study on different courses but the Beggars give a toss about what you know and how much you are developed. These are the real situations, often with tragic endings. Nothing will help, no "putting on blinders and earmuffs", no suasions and expostulations, no psychological, moral, ethical methods, nothing that the common people use. We may view in a big way as well. Let get an insight into behaviour of Georgia in foreign affairs (Georgia is a country in the Caucasus region of Eurasia. Situated at the juncture of Western Asia and Eastern Europe, it is bounded to the west by the Black Sea, to the north by Russia - note of translator). This country was mounting "deceitful" attacks on the surrounding territories. Last time it happened on the next day after a promise of non-aggression, given by the Georgian president. Then an assault upon South Ossetia was made, it was the day of beginning of Olympic Games, which was not very fair, wasn't it? Then, manipulation of public opinion of the Western countries that came next in the first days of conflict. Does anything before-mentioned resemble, but in a big way, an original Beggar-country? Russia answered to the aggression of Georgia completely correct, and Ossetia was saved. But it was a tactical answer, that didn't solve the problem. Moreover, a larger "Goblin" was attracted and activated. Think at the base of abovementioned, how the macrosituation will develop under these circumstances? Surely, you are not so naïve to think that the situation has been finished. So, not only individuals, but even the countries have to pay dear for ignorance. Sometimes the price is the human lives.

Now, I hope it is clear that Temperology, possessing this knowledge, immediately concerns with the real situations in life. A man who understands the things, about which we talk, and who doesn't want to get into such situation, may address only to knowledge of Temperology and nothing else. I am not praising myself; I am just stating the fact. If you have any doubt you may check it. It’s your life; it is you who choose what will happen. You may participate in any courses or trainings, you may pray and go to mass, ask your friend or relative about advice in this situation, receive additional education, convene a council. Perhaps, it will help.
