Hey everyone,

Finally handed in my dissertation! Which means more time to play games and fiddle with gadgets and what not! So what games are you all playing? I'm still trying to finish Alpha Protocol ... But I just can't seem to get past this one section!!!!! Kind of bummed by it! Anyone else playing/played this game?

Hey everyone,

Exciting stuff and cartoons

I'm actually excited about Call of Duty Black Ops... anyone else as ecstatic as i am? Or it could just be that university 4th year is coming to an end which means i can do some serious gaming!

On another note, i've been reading this groovy magazine 'Wired' on the iPad! I think though that some of its appeal is because there are few magazines with crazy cartoon related tech/gadgety adverts! I mean what other tech magazines have bears driving trucks/4X4WDs?

Well its back to the books and dreaming of upcoming gaming sessions. What's everyone else been playing anything worthwhile? And what sort of prizes/games would you like to win - should I find some good sponsors etc,?

Its been a while

Well... i'm sitting here with my coffee ...and waiting for words of inspiration to hit me...but i'm a blank screen today because i'm back at university. I've gotta balance the whole uni/game playing thing but it doesn't always work very well. However, i shall try and finish Alpha Protocol and my next university assignment.

Let me know what games you're currently playing..... I'm looking forward to the following game being released

so I'm currently playing Alpha Protocol on the PS3 and its pretty awesome! Eventhough it's single player - which I don't usually enjoy - your character gets to experience situations in a number of different ways... It's great too because enemies sneak up on you when you least expect it so you really get a shock!! anyone else played this game?

Ipad

Ok so I just got my ipad the other week and OMG! Its marvellous! I didn't know they could make such a huge iphone! HAHA and yes ok...I'm not retarded i know the difference between an ipad and an iphone - one is big and one is small (just kidding)!
Anyway I love the fact that the ipad can do the same as an iphone (minus multitasking crap - which to be honest gets confusing after a while and a real pain in the arse) but can also do much more.
And yeah I know the ipad doesn't have flash but hopefully Apple will somehow magically fix that flaw.

Gaming (COD4)

I know its been ages since Call of Duty 4 came out but its still worthy of a mention. Especially considering i play this game online with some kick arse gamers! Strangely enough they seem to freak out when they realise that a girl is somehow kicking their arse...however, i am a little rusty at times and end up getting an arse whipping from the guys! But its all in good spirit and a hell of a lot of fun!
See I tried to tell a girlfriend of mine the other day that they should play some COD4 but i think they thought i had rocks in my head! They responded with "why would i want to play games? Eww, that's what guys do!" However, a better question is "why aren't they playing games...especially shooter games?" Girls need an outlet too... especially a gaming one...

Hi Edward 1,

Yeah I totally agree with your 'head shots are poetry' comment. I think it would be awesome to see more girl gamers!

I play COD 4 on PS3 and other games on xbox360 - however I tend to prefer gaming on the PS3.

I must admit I was kind of terrified about playing COD4 due to stories I'd heard from friends about its intensity etc, but hell its awesome fun!

I think I may just have to play some COD4 today.
