Soon To Be: Haircut Disaster

January 6th 2008 01:28
So today, I will be going to the hairdresser with my friend.

Haha, it is not me that is getting a pair of scissors shoved into my hair, it is her.
And may I inform you who will be the one directing her haircut? Yes, that will be ME.

Oh, how many plans I do have for her head. But, then again that would be being a bad friend, and of course Im not that mean. I am much worse.

So lets see, what should I have done to her hair? Maybe a mohawk? Hmmm.. yess I think that will look quite nice. Or maybe one of those "I hate my life so I got this haircut" haircuts, you know the ones with a greasy side-fringe at the front and all short and spiked up at the back? Yes, that may suit her.

Well al she really does want done is just a front-fringe, but that haircut doesnt take long. And plus how often is it that you get to direct a friends (soon to be enemy after she gets a look in the mirror of her new haircut) haircut.

If I ever apply for another job, really I could put down on my resume that I am a professional Haircut director to the famous. Well she isnt famous, but you never know, someday she might be, and when she does that'll be a great boost for my ego .

Right Well, this was only a short blog, but I have to go I am off to the hairdressers now >
hehehehe.

I will inform you later on what happened with her hair appointment, and whether I really do have any hair styling skills or any directing skills

What an Eventful day I had today.
NOT

Lets see I woke up at 9:30 am and a sore throat came with that lovely awakening. Right well at least there is always a nice family, healthy breakfast right?
Oh not today there isnt, mum is out shopping and dad is somewhere else. So mum being out shopping means no food. Oh what a wonderful start to the day.
Down goes a glass of orange juice and I'm ready for the day, or whats left of the day.

So what shall I do today?
Lets see, I might hangout at the beach with a few friends or maybe go for a lovely walk in the park. Now doesnt that just sound glorious?

So, I open the curtains in my bedroom and "Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat kind of day is that??" I say, quite sadly. I can hardly see 25metres out of my window. You want to know why?
Because of the stupid rain! Yes, yes, I know its helping the dam and the dry deserts but seriously!!! This has been going for at least a week or two now. I mean dont you think its time to stop? God has shed enough tears already.

All dressed up and nowhere to go. Oh yes, that was me at 10am looking out of a fogged up window at the 20 metres of rain infront of me, which was all that I could see.

Well theres always t.v right? So I turn on the telly, and my favourite show just happens to be on. What a coincedence considering my day has been bad luck so far. So I get all snuggled in on the couch with a few pillows here and there.

It may be rainging but this is still nice. Maybe my luck has turned. Of course just when I was starting to think things were good... *BAM* a Powerfailure....

Oh now dont you laugh at me! This is not a laughing matter, well it wasnt at the time anyways.

So I rug up in jumpers and blankets and I sat around playing the guitar for the rest of the morning. Mum came home at about 11:45 and asks why I didnt turn the heater on.

"Because we are in the middle of a powerfailure" I replied.
"Well, then why is the oven and microwave on?" she questions me.

I have never felt more stupid. I now realise what that beeping sound was 5minutes after the powerfailure. Well there was a good part to this, apart from having sore fingers from the playing the guitar for 2 hours. But at the moment I am not quite sure what that is...

Oh yes! Now hangon a second, I guess you could say the good part was (even though it was a horrible rainy day) that I learnt all by myself what people did in the old days before they had power. How proud I am of myself.

Wow.
Well what can I say, who knew in only a matter of a decade or two we'd come to such a great thing like this.
Of course I am talking about sitting behind a computer typing with numb fingers, staring at a blinding white screen while eating the occasional chocolate bar.
Yep, us humans have sure come far. And to think some of are getting paid for such acts.
God bless them.

But its not always that great, oh no its not. There is a risk. "What risk?" you ask, well my good friend, as tempting as all this sounds ( especially the chocolate bar), we are all in great danger of something that our so called computers tech people like to call "VIRUSES".

Scary, yes I know. But we have to face these fears, and we are already doing so by as you may or may not know already going the internet.

Now dont you DARE click on that tiny harmless "X" at the top of the window, for you have not finished reading my post.

Where was I?
Ahh.. That is right
Yes, viruses are dangerous
so I leave you today with a message of truth and wisdom that sums up the point of this post
Chocolate Bars are NOT good
