Taxing The Sin

It seems that the US drug policy may be getting ready to ease up a bit. President Obama's drug czar might have hinted at a change in policy on the war on drugs. A war that we seem to be losing!
It should be noted that the tax man loses out on billions of dollars a year enforcing laws that could otherwise generate revenue. Ironically this isn't only about drugs. Legalizing drugs, prostitution and gambling can generate an enormous amount of tax money.l
In this hurtful economy, the revenue can be a big boost. It should be considered that these illegal activities are taking place everywhere, even if you don't see it. Someone is getting rich on illegal activity, and they are basically calling the shots.
Legally the government is taxing cigarettes, booze, and even considering soda. These are called 'sineg tax' because they are allegedly 'legal' vices that aren't good for you!
