Tales of Stupidity #1

I'm going to kick off today with a bit of an interesting post. I'm going to warn you now, if you're offended by harsh language, you need to skip this one. This will definitely be one of my angrier posts. Let's jump in, shall we?
As my post title infers, today's rant is about stupidity. Human idiocy never ceases to amaze me. Don't get me wrong here, I understand that we're all likely to fuck things up, we all make mistakes. However, some of what I have seen goes way the hell beyond that of a simple mistake. Makes me always wonder what the shit is going through these peoples' heads at the time.
Today I'm going to share with you a tale or two of my experiences with idiocy. (just as my title says, how bout that!) I'll write out (the best my memory will allow me) the scenario and details then I'll give you some afterthought. I'll only post one, maybe two stories, as I do want to have a continuation on this. (I honestly do not think that will be a problem, cause every time I think I've met the dumbest person ever, another one comes along and tops it.)
Today's encounter takes place a few months back, when I was playing an online game. I had played this game for about two years, (I quit at the start of this month, and this story is one of the reasons why) and had made a decent amount of friends. Well there was one particular girl whom, after I had really gotten to know her, I had grown fond of. This girl had a fucking shit ass life, and I mean a shit life. Her mother constantly told her she was no good. She had been beaten up quite a few times. Her friends started a few fucked up rumors about her. She was a victim of racist harassment and slur as well (she was quite a mix of races, I assure you). On and on and on. You would think that a girl with such a shit life would have some damn sense in her head, right? Fucking wrong, this girl (as it slowly turned out) is as dumb as a fucking telephone pole. She told me of some things she had done in the past, such as going out and getting drunk (that's semi understandable, but in the situation she was in, and the fact she was 15 didn't help), and sleeping with a guy she'd known for a day (that actually caused me to not like her and ignore the fact she existed for about two months.), among other things. I shook all this off, figuring she was misguided, and had a niche she wasn't that smart to begin with. (Yeah, right there is my fuck up, giving this girl more chances to prove how stupid she is).
So lets jump forward a bit here. I'm on the verge of quitting, and am sure as hell not fond of said girl anymore. ( I bet you wonder where the idiocy is. Don't fret, I'm getting there.) On said game there are many Brazilians, which sadly, sets of a lot of racism (Another reason I quit). I myself took well with the Brazilians, but for most other people, they didn't. So here I am one day, having a chat in the game chat of the game, when I see this girl is talking. I cannot believe what it is I read from her. There she is, a girl who has had a shit life and have been a victim to racism and cruelty from others, making racist comments about the Brazilian people.
Stop and think for a second here, a person who knows what it's like to be slandered against because of race and ethnicity, spewing racist comments about another race for all to see. The moment I read that, ( I can't quite recall what it was she said), my mind exploded with a big 'what the fuck'. I can understand if you're slandering against a person slandering against you (the old fight fire with fire method), but there she was, bitching and slandering all because of what one person had done (And I'm not even sure something had been done to her). It's kind of like a rape victim, knowing all to well the trauma, going and raping someone else. There are special cases of course, but let's say it's one normal adult is raped then goes to rape another normal adult. One could say that the girl (going back to the topic here), was under special circumstances. No way, she had even talked to me several times about being slandered against and how it made her feel. She even told me that she often thought of killing herself.
All in all, it was stupidity beyond belief. I sometimes wondered if she had a damn brain in her head. Seems as though she didn't. I honestly should have kept her out of my life the first time I decided to do so. My bad there I guess. (FYI there is much more to this than what I have stated).
Feel free to share some tales of stupidity if you have any. They;re usually annoying to go through, but you gotta admit they are entertaining once they become memories.
I'm gonna wrap this one up by saying; if you fuck up, at least learn from it.
