in a sanctuary of dreamspace,

Today, you are here.
Here by my side.
Take me for granted.
Assume I will always
be here,
without fear or worry.
Trust that I am yours.
No flowers, no words
needed.
No flowery prose
no romantic notes
or wishes come true
required.
Just know.
It is the only thing
my heart desires.
The only thing my
mind needs
to see...
...your absolute trust
in the We that is Me.
A waterfall of gratefulness,
A bed of roses,
notes in lipstick on my mirror
The We that is Us is above
the need to impress.
The romance of a sixteen
year marriage is
assumption.
