Good luck with saving for that trip. It`s also on my agenda for sometime down the track. New Zealand has to be one of the most spectacular places I have ever been. It would be hard to top the majestic scenery that the South Island has to offer.

aw thanks. Brighton is one of my favourite places to live. It has the BEST vibe about it, i think because of the gay community, everyone is loving and caring and allows you to just be yourself without any questioning. The beach there holds many of my whispered secrets!

You make me want to go to New Zealand again... I was actually thinking of applying for a editorial job in Auckland, but I don't think I would find it culturally satisfying (and it's so cold - brrr).
You may have inspired me to post up some of my own travel photography...
As for the RTW trip, I was interested in the one that's advertised on this page for me right now - $1299 tax! But knowing me and how much I just want to get going asap, I will prob only wait till I have the money for a one-way flight to S-E Asia (prob Singapore, so I can get a short train ticket out of the country beforehand and hence get around the return ticket requirement)... then again, my travel plans change almost daily, so anythign could happen between now and whenever I travel!

Definitely can recommend the trip to New Zealand. once I`m done posting on my Australian Traveller site about Ireland and the UK I`m going to do an around NZ stint. I would LOVE to go back there again, best place I`ve been to!
There are some great deals at www.bestflights.com.au for RTW trips at the moment. I`m contemplating on one myself for the end of next year actually.... depends on a few things though, but we`ll see what happens. I`d love to see some of your travel photography too!
