thinking out loud - June 2008

Swimming Thoughts

I turned the television on
To interrupt my thoughts
Swimming around
In one eye
exiting the other.

The television entertained me
for a while;
focusing on little rich girl.

My thoughts return
And I wish for more slumber
But there is no use now.

Slumber will have to wait
for another day
When thoughts care calm.
