Actor Henry Gibson Passes Away

September 17th 2009 02:05
My parents always told me that death happens in 3's . Number 1 this go around was Patrick Swayze and Number 2 is actor Henry Gibson. I actually heard this earlier in the evening but am just now getting my thoughts together. Most people born around the time I was barely know who he was. Some may remember him from reruns of the late 60's early 70's show Laugh In. He was 73 years old not much younger than my own father. I am always saddened to hear when a famous actor passes away more so when I hear that it is from Cancer. Like I say I am barely old enough to know who he was but I do know that he was a well respected and talented actor. His career included a recurring role on Boston Legal and King of the Hill with a guest appearance on the tv show show Charmed as well. My condolences go out to his family in this difficult time. I wonder who number 3 will be this time?

There are very few movies of his I do not like. Ghost and Roadhouse are two of my favorites.
