I know it's been a long time I haven't write anything here because life caught me. Now that I'm free from life (for the time being), I decided I need to do what I should do, which is update this blog of course. I'm really sorry for leaving this blog for such a long time (I think) so let's move on with our agenda.
This is SuG's latest single which is also the ED for the anime, Katekyo Hitman Reborn!. As usual, this review is based on limited edition version. By the way, this is the first major debut single.
Tracklist:
1. gr8 story
2. milk tune.
DVD
1. gr8 story pv
Comment:
I'm obviously happy to hear that this song is the ED for Reborn! because I'm also watching the anime and I really love it. I've been watching this anime from the first episode so you can guess how excited I am when one of my favorite band's song is the ED for the anime that I love watching.
Putting that aside, the song itself really does fit the anime because the song is very upbeat. Reborn! anime is not a depressing anime so the song really can get along with the storyline. Somehow, listening to this song makes me feel like I'm ready for the battle ahead of me. I know that some of you think that this song should be the OP instead of ED but I think this song suits as ED better than as an OP. This can be very subjective but I would say whether this song is the OP or the ED of the anime, it is still a perfect song for the anime.
As for milk tune., I'm surprised that I'm so hooked to it despite of its upbeat melody. It's not that I don't like upbeat melody, it's just that it's rare for me to like B-side song that is so upbeat and happy-go-lucky kinda melody. I wouldn't say it's a bad song, but it really gives you a laid-back feeling after gr8 story.
Overall, I think the whole tracks in this single is absolutely amazing. If you have never listened to SuG before, then this single is really worth your money. If you have some moolah to spend, then consider buying the limited edition because the pv is very funny. This is the pv that I like the most. Watch the pv or buy the single, then you will know why I say so.
Here's gr8 story pv:
If you're curious about the ED, then watch this video:

I believe this is not a new news for those who have been LM.C fans for so long when it comes to their outfits for any singles and albums. Pardon me for being practically unknown about this. Anyway, let's move on with the news.
If you've been dying to cosplay LM.C for so long but have no idea where to get those stuff (clothes and accessories), you can check groucho website as they have the complete listing of their outfits for Wonderful Wonderholic (WFWH). Other than WFWH outfits, they are also selling their outfits for the previous singles such as Ghost Heart, Punky Heart and lots more.
To all LM.C fans, have you listened to their latest album yet? I have listened to their latest album and I can say that the album is awesome. I haven't write the review yet, but you can always check my other site, Soundfans for the review. If you haven't bought their latest album yet, you can order your copy here:
To be honest, I didn't know that their outfits are available for sale. I always thought that those outfits are not mass-production. Other than groucho, Japan Discoveries is also selling their outfits but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I've seen Ghost Heart outfits available on sale in Japan Discoveries but I think it might be no longer there.
If you're interested to buy their outfits, groucho also accepts international order but they can only accept money order and bank remittance. It'll be good if they can accept paypal. You can read their order procedure here.
I know that some of you would prefer to watch the anime on TV instead of buying DVD (which is expensive) and watch the anime online (too bad if you have a slow connection). If you've been dying to watch the latest anime but don't have the money to buy the DVD and you have a freaking slow Internet connection (or no Internet connection at all), perhaps you can opt to watch the anime on TV. Yes, you guess it right. Where else you can watch the anime if it's not Animax Asia?
If you don't live in Asia Pacific, then you can opt to switch the region. I don't know whether Animax on the other parts of the world is similar with Animax Asia, so if the content is different, then I can say it's too bad. This is a no brainer for those who loves watching anime since Animax is the best anime resources especially those who don't live in Japan. I know there are a lot of channels in Japan that broadcast anime, but if you live elsewhere, there's no way you can watch these anime other than Animax Asia. Well, that's for my case because the local channels here don't really broadcast anime that much so my very good resource is definitely Animax Asia.
Most anime on Animax Asia are the anime that are widely known. I would say most of the anime that I have reviewed here are all available in Animax Asia back then. Since I no longer have Animax Asia at home, I don't really know what are the latest anime they have in the channel. To my surprise, they'll be showing K-On! next week!!! Yes, K-On! is big in Japan (or is not?!) so I have never expected that K-On! will be on Animax Asia. Animax Asia is also showing the second season of Saiunkoku Monogatari (it's called Color Cloud Place in English) so yes, if you have read my review and decided to watch the anime, then Animax Asia is a perfect channel for you.
Bleach fans can also watch Bleach the anime on Animax Asia. Even though the anime is only showing the first season, if you are interested to watch Bleach but didn't get the chance to, then this will be your opportunity. I know it's really hard for you to catch up with the anime since the anime itself has 200 of episodes, so it'll be really crazy to watch from the beginning. Catching up to the latest episode may seems overwhelming for some people, so if you've just started to develop interest in Bleach, then now is your chance.
In case you're searching for anime info, this site about Anime Information might help you.
Anyway, I'll be resuming my anime reviews soon as I just started to get back on track. I won't be telling you what anime will be on the list next so just wait for the next update.
Okay, the title can be a bit alarming for Plastic Tree fans. It may sounds like Akira got himself wounded but fear not about that. I'm pretty sure that he's alright and doing fine. I'm not sure how many of you have heard this news since I've just received this news from CDJapan.
So what the hell is this Heavy Cutting & Stroke? It seems that it's a new DVD that will be released on April 27 and the best part is, it's not a live DVD and it's not even a pv collection DVD. But then again, I hear you say this again "What the hell is this DVD if it's not a live DVD or pv collection DVD
Just as I have posted about the pv preview yesterday, today the full pv has been revealed in Live Journal. If you can't seem to find the full pv elsewhere, you can watch here:
If you have been following me long enough, can you recall when was the last time I have ever talked anything about Kagrra? If you can, that's good. If you don't, let me refresh you a little. The last time I mentioned anything about Kagrra was when they released a new single, Shiki and their appearance on V-Rock Festival. After that, we didn't hear much from them.
Even though I say it's going to be a massive update in this post, I just skimmed through the relevant updates because to be honest, not all of us can actually go to see them live. But then again, I will write juicy stuff related to the updates (I love juicy stuff by the way). Now, let's start with the live first
SuG's new album, TOKYO MUZiCAL HOTEL will be released soon and their OHP is updated with the preview of dot.0. If you haven't watched the preview yet, you can watch it here:
If you're digging for old Gazette stuffs such as CDs and DVDs, here's your chance since CDJapan has re-stock some of it. I believe there will be more to come. So here are some of the CDs and DVDs which has been reissue and will be released on March 1.
Okay, I believe CDJapan is now offering extra bonus just like what other places such as Tower Records, HMV, Tsutaya, Brand X, etc would do. When it says exclusive here, it really means that you'll get more than what you would normally get. And guess what, if you have bought every single item from CDJapan, now you can get the similar extra treatment just like other places.
I believe that most of you already know that Alice Nine will release a compilation album called Complete Collection 2006-2009. If you have missed the news, you can read about it here. So, if you have preordered the album way back then, you can expect to receive a poster. This bonus is the same in anywhere you purchase the album - be it HMV, Tower Records, Tsutaya, Brand X, etc
LM.C Official MySpace Blog has posted the oversea release date for their latest album, Wonderful Wonderholic. So, you can buy their latest album via iTunes stores or if you prefer the actual product, you can always check at your local CD stores.
Here's the release date for the album to be available in iTunes stores
Wow, that's good to hear that. Welcome to the Gazette world and feel free to share your fandom here XD
I admit that they really rock your life so you should listen more to their songs. There are a lot of songs to recommend so I just recommend something that you can watch on YouTube such as:
- Distress and Coma
- The Invisible Wall
- Chizuru
If you prefer their old songs, then you can listen to their songs such as:
- Miseinen
- Ruder
These are some that I like. Take it slowly to get to know them better because they don't just great music-wise but also personality-wise XD
Even if I'm strapped for cash, I would still get the limited edition because in terms of price, it doesn't differ much. At least you don't just get cd and dvd only, you get other stuff as well.
What I mean with that statement is to buy both albums, not to choose between one album. It's no surprise that some of us would buy both versions simply because they don't want to miss anything.
According to what my friend, she said she found the album in Time Square but I have no idea whether it's available elsewhere. Another good bet would be in Tower Records. Maybe you can try find the album there.
Yeah, that's true. I think they would have guessed that if one person has to give the chocolates to the whole band, the rest of the members would only receive obligatory chocolates, lol
Actually, I don't mind if they want you to specify who do you want to give the chocolates to as long as I don't have to mention my name. But then again, I think it's still fine if they don't ask us to specify who we want to give the chocolates to.
Thanks a lot for being understanding. Lately, there's barely any juicy news so this blog is kinda dead for the time being =___=""
I see. Thanks a lot *hugs*. All of the info comes from lj actually. But I know that some of us don't have lj account and they don't join the community of the band they're not so fond of.
