I have been reading all the press on Ben Cousins for the last 12 months and must admit to thinking that he has been behaving like a goose.
However I think that the general public out there (yes that means you) are all jumping on the band wagon once again and mercilessly crucifying someone that you don't care about and/or are just plain jealouse of.
Facts, The guy has made a mistake, it's obviouse he can't handle the fame, does that mean that he never should play for the Eagles again? Please get a grip on yourselves and just sit back and look at the career of someone who has excelled to the be one of the finest players in the history of the game.
Yes he made a big mistake, and that will live with him forever whether he bounces back from the last two years of press or not. Noone will ever forget what he did and you can be sure that neither will he whenever he leaves his front door to perform the every day chores of life.
Now ask yourself if your agression, anger and respnses are justified to what he actually has done? or is the fact that most of you are simply dead set jealouse and can see your chance to slander someone that you don't even know?
Next time you feel like looking down the barrel at high profile sport stars like Ben, try shooting yourlsef for the mistakes you made in life that probably hurt your family and freinds, not to mention your character.
