Love
You know, I just broke off with a girlfriend, and I am fragile... I admit it.
And my feelings for my bi-sexual housemate have evolved from niceties to some kind of weird level of wannabes. Never before have I felt like this about anyone. 'Self-Sufficient-Steve' has transmogrified from rock to putty.
But I still dream of her. I see her in the simplest things... the most innocent of beautiful things. If only she knew.
Sheep leaping over pale white fence posts, one after another, have been replaced with the mornings of waking with a heavy heart.
And then there is Henry, the ubiquitous flat-mate.
Sex is not an issue. Sex Schmex. It's about love, this thing (and the making of it).
Tissues for the woman I love are stained with the rivulets of pain that roll down my cheek everyday. She is my very existance, my aesthetic release... i day-dream of the small scar on her upper lip, and those concentric circles of brown as her eyes. My God!
And every day I awake to a fading pain that will be with me forever.
