these are some things you need to ask or know before a gig.
- Venue address and how to get there
- Primary contact at venue on night
- Do we need a PA?
- Do we need sound person, door person or other staff?
- Is the show all ages?
- What bands are playing and in what order?
- load in times and where to park.
- Is there a soundcheck before gig? what time?
- Backstage area for bands and gear?
- What time do doors open?
- What time does the first band start?
- What time your band goes on stage.
- What time is load out and venue closure?
- What is the cover charge?
- How are we being paid?
- What is a typical crowd size for this venue?
- is there a guestlist? How do we add names to it?
- Do we get riders or food? What is he policy on this?
- Do you allow recordings and photography? What formats does the sound board cater for? i.e minidisc, casette, Cd?
