Stairway to Miswanderlust's Heaven

In June, I came across this article in Spin Link here regarding the possibility of a reunion tour for Led Zeppelin.
Well friends it is confirmed. Led Zeppelin will perform a one-time concert in memory of Ahmet Ertegun, a co-founder of Atlantic Records on November 26 at London's The O2 venue. CNN link for more on the CNN article. Official website reports that due to high demand, tickets will be available by ballot only. Fans must visit this site to preregister. (This reminds me a little bit like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory..... but with burn outs with money instead of misbehaving children....ummmm maybe it is exactly the same!)
The group plans on playing a full set even though concert promoters only asked them to do 30 minutes. This concert comes 27 years after the band officially split after drummer John Bonham died. His son, Jason Bonham, a professional drummer in his own right, will take his place alongside Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones
There is a feverish speculation that the three surviving members of the band could now join other veteran supergroups with a highly lucrative reunion tour. I have my doubts but I could be wrong....
Pigs are flying, I am a monkey's uncle, I now believe in Santa, the Tooth Fairy, and the Easter Bunny. The planets are in alignment and all is good with my world.

I will be in London at that exact time!!!!
19 years since they last played. That's how old I am. Incredible.
It sounds like it's going to be impossible to get tickets.

..you must not miss this one... you must sell your house, children, car .. whatever... to get there, okay?
I speak from experience, having lucked-out of seeing Pink Floyds final perfomance in Venice in 1988 (or '89). I was backpacking around the world, and in London at the time, but was about 50 pounds short of making it to Venice for the event... something I still regret.
The wonders of hindsight reveal, that I should have gone and just slept on a park bench for the night, not worried about being short of funds for accommodation.
They performed on the Square and all the audience were in gondola's, sipping sangria to the fantastical laser-light show also a part of their farewell....OMG, fancy missing it?
I am glad your world is whole again, keep it that way.
