VETERAN NRL forward Luke Stuart has re-signed with South Sydney until the end of the 2009 season.
The 31 year-old will enter his eighth season with South Sydney after he agreed to a one-year contract extension.
Stuart, who had offers from other NRL clubs, decided to stay loyal with South Sydney and will more than likely end his career with the Rabbitohs.

STAND-IN Sydney Roosters captain Mark O’Meley has declared players at his former club - Canterbury - are "big softies".
O’Meley will lead Sydney Roosters in tomorrow night's (Friday’s) NRL blockbuster at Sydney Football Stadium.
The big prop was handed the captaincy role for the first time in 10 NRL seasons because Sydney Roosters will be without six players due to State of Origin commitments.
The loss of the Roosters rep players has not only robbed the club of two captains - Craig Fitzgibbon and Braith Anasta - but it has also left O'Meley as the only former Dog of the four at the club to face his old teammates at the Sydney Football Stadium.
In an explosive – if not light-hearted – jibe at his former team, O’Meley said he was not worried about being targeted by the Bulldogs “soft” pack.
O’Meley yesterday admitted he would cop the brunt of the attack from a hungry Bulldogs outfit but welcomed the challenge.
"I'm sure they're going to target me but that's footy, I'm used to that," he said.
"I know all the blokes and I know they're all big softies down there.
"The Dogs have had a couple of bad losses and we have some players out so the hype is not there but I'm sure the hatred is still there between the two clubs.
"I don't think any player on the field is going to take a backward step."
The 27 year-old former NSW and Australia star also claimed it was a huge honour to captain Sydney Roosters.
"I look forward to helping the boys out here and putting my hand up while we've got a few blokes out," he said.
"I'm really trying to enjoy having these young kids coming up and playing with me - this is a highlight for me and something I'm going to remember."
