SPEAK OUT! (LINK)

I have been made aware of a Christian CD created by the mulit-talented BarlowGirl. The CD is creatively named, How Can We Be Silent. The songs come from this CD are powerful, and from three girls who are crying out to God for a generation to stand up for the ways of God. "A Million Voices" is an anthem for all ages. It's a dynamic message with an awesome sound. You'll go away humming this one for days after.
BarlowGirl, as most bands do, has their own web site. They have a SPEAK OUT section, which I will place here. In Speak Out, you can call in and leave messages on things you are doing to be a light in a dark world. It's a wonderful tool.
I really can't say enough about this CD. The music is top notch (they do all their own vocals and instruments) and the songs are absolutely gorgeous. There is even a jazz compilation. If you want a CD that will set ablaze a fire in you and keep burning with desire to know God and follow hard after Him, this is the band for you. If you are sick and tired of "church as usual" or hearing about God but not witnessing any power, this CD has the cry of your heart.

And bravo to Alyssa, Becca and Lauren Barlow for taking a stand! They have been offered contracts for secular music, but have turned down every offer stating, "That's not why we do this." These are amazing girls with a passion for Christ. I could never do them or their sound justice. If you go to www.barlowgirl.com you can hear snippets of their music. And, if I am not mistaken, there is a free download on their myspace page as well. (But I haven't been there to check it out.
