Maxwell played an important role in the development of the soul sub-genre, neo-soul.

This Hatian-Puerto Rican mixed wonder thrived in his music for decades. From the early 1990's to now,we just can't get enough on him!

Maxwell's Urban Hang Suite sold over 2,000,000 copies, earning 2x platinum status, and was nominated for a Grammy Award.

From Then to Now winning "Best Male R&B Vocal Performance" for Pretty Wings. So you can imagine all of his success through the years making him one of the best neo-soul singers today!

Shakespeare Understood

I'm in love with the deep words that most neo soul artists display. I can understand why Shakespeare got a lot of love from women, and men! When you put lyrics together that can make you melt, you just want the song to never end.
This day and age we don't get too many singers that express true lyrics. Now; as long as you look good, the studio can take care of that horrible voice!
