Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. Thanks for giving me something to look back on and something to look forward to...And yeah, I'm hot too.

Nissan Murano LE AWD

April 28th 2008 13:49
This car is fabulous! I would recommend it to anyone! I had a 04 Murano, never one problem with it at all - we completely loved it. When my car started getting more miles on it and depreciating in value because of it, we decided to treat ourselves and get the 09 LE AWD. I cannot tell you how much more luxurious the 09 is compared to the 04 which I thought could not be surpassed. The stereo system is even better with 9 speakers and a sub woofer. Its so quiet inside while driving. Heated seats in the back now keep me from feeling guilty with passangers from having to freeze on the leather seats as in the 04 Murano. The "wood" accents inside, coupled with the black leather is so classy, its hard to not keep looking around my beautiful car while I am driving. It handles beautifully and responds on a dime. If you are in weather that is icy it is a life saver as well with the ever responding CVT that is more improved on the 09. The blue tooth, ipod connector, and 6 CD changer make it even more amazing. The only thing with the blue tooth is that the lady's voice talks way too much if you make a mistake while making a phone call, but thats typical.
The interior looks no less then any other crossover luxury AWD (it even looks better than the Lexus and the Infiniti), the exterior looks so rock and handsome, its performances are superior with a smooth traction control system.
Technology packages are so fancy and useful such as: the Music Box, CF Card, IPOD connector, Navigation System and the Voice Recognition functionalities. My wife and I, we both are Infiniti lovers, but this time we would rather choose this Murano instead of the Infiniti FX or the new EX just came out this year. The Infiniti FX designed just like a frog.
This may be the best car for the money out there! You will not be disapointed. It Rocks!

2008 BMW 1 Series Coupe

March 29th 2008 16:37

The 2008 1 Series Coupe is a 2-door, 4-passenger luxury sports coupe, available in two trims, the 128i and the 135i.

Upon introduction, the 128i is equipped with a standard 3.0-liter, I6, 230-horsepower engine that achieves 18-mpg in the city and 28-mpg on the highway. The 135i is equipped with a standard 3.0-liter, I6, 300-horsepower, turbo engine that achieves 17-mpg in the city and 25-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims, and a 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional.

The 2008 1 Series Coupe is all-new for 2008.

I gave this car a test drive, and fell in love. Its just an amazing car. Its something that can't be explained in words. It handles so perfect without heavy or light engagements neither does it feel either. Its so sporty, yet has that little luxury also that makes it a drivers car. I see this car being very successful on BMW's part because its just nice. Its safe, its powerful and it gets to you. I loved the transmission, I had no problems with that. The throws were just right not to long or harsh and felt very like it snapped in gear perfect. Interior wise was great, I love the way BMW goes about their design and my only con about the car is the rear seating space. Its just small. Overall A car

Toyota Matrix

March 19th 2008 21:57
Toyota Matrix

The Toyota Corolla Matrix, commonly referred to as the Toyota Matrix, is a compact hatchback manufactured by Toyota Motor Corporation in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada and sold in North America.

The Matrix is the Toyota version of a joint venture between Toyota and General Motors; the GM version is the Pontiac Vibe, made at NUMMI in Fremont, California. A third version, also assembled at NUMMI, was sold in Japan from 2002 to early 2004 as the Toyota Voltz. Although the Voltz was sold under the Toyota brand there, the styling was nearly identical to the Vibe. The Matrix is considered to be the sporty hatchback/wagon counterpart of the Corolla.

The Matrix and the Vibe are identical mechanically and practically identical internally, but they are clothed in different sheetmetal in order to appear somewhat different. Both vehicles are narrow but tall station wagons styled in a trendy, quasi-SUV fashion (called a crossover utility vehicle or "XUV" by Toyota) and marketed to a fairly youthful market segment. This type of car is often referred to as a sport wagon.
Toyota Matrix

The first-generation Matrix introduced in the 2003 model year and based on the Toyota Corolla platform. A facelift for 2005 brought minor revisions to the exterior, mainly revised styling to the front fascia due to complaints of rubbing the ground on the previous incarnation and adding clear lenses to the taillamps. Also, the center instrument panel was slightly redesigned and used a Toyota head unit in place of the previous GM-sourced head unit.

Two 1.8 L engines were offered in the Matrix: the 1ZZ-FE, borrowed from the Corolla, which was claimed to produce 130 hp (97 kW) in 2003 and 2004 models, a claim Toyota reduced to 127 hp (95 kW) in 2005; and the performance-oriented 2ZZ-GE taken from the Toyota Celica GT-S, which produced 164 hp (previously 180 hp (134 kW) in 2003, 173 hp (129 kW) in 2004, and 170 hp (127 kW) in 2005). The Matrix was also available with all-wheel drive until 2007.

In late 2006, Toyota discontinued use of the 2ZZ-GE engine and dropped the XRS from the Matrix lineup to be temporarily replaced by the M-Theory edition. Like the XRS model, the M-Theory was a limited production run of 2500 cars. The all-wheel drive variant was also dropped for the 2007 model year.
Toyota Matrix

The second-generation Matrix was unveiled on October 31, 2007 at the SEMA show in Las Vegas. It will be available in dealerships beginning February 15, 2008 as a 2009 model. 3 trim grades (Standard, S, and XRS) will be offered, as well as two I4 engines: a 1.8L 2ZR-FE for the Standard and a 2.4L 2AZ-FE for the S and XRS grades. The former will be offered with a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic, while the latter will be offered with a manual or automatic 5-speed transmission. In addition, the S grade, when equipped with the 4-speed automatic, can be had with All-Wheel Drive.

Chevrolet Corvette ZR1

February 26th 2008 13:03

The ZR1 is a high performance version of the Chevrolet Corvette. It replaces the similar Z06 model as the most powerful Corvette currently in production. The ZR1 designation has been offered as an optional package on previous Corvettes. C3 and C4 Corvettes from 1971-1995 both had a ZR-1 option. Please note the older C3 optional ZR-1 had a different lettering than the newer C6 ZR1 package. The ZR1 engine is a modified LS3 designated the LS9. The LS9 has a sixth-generation Eaton TVS R2300 roots 4-lobe supercharger with an intercooler. The supercharger's four-lobe design offers improved efficiency over three-lobe models. To prevent hood modifications, the supercharger's output was split into two halves. Each cylinder bank has an intercooler. The intercoolers are Behr air-to-water dual-brick designs. The LS3 motor block will be used because the cylinder walls of the LS3 are thicker than the Z06's LS7. Oil injectors, for improved cooling and noise reduction, will be used for the first time in a production Corvette. Connecting rods will be made of titanium. Heads will be from a special heat resistant aluminum alloy from the LS9 manufacturing process. Intake valves are made of titanium. The camshaft lift was reduced from the LS7's 15 mm (0.5906 in) to 14.1 mm (0.5551 in) to improve idle quality.Lubrication will be provided by an improved Z06 LS7 dry sump system.

Underwater Car!

February 21st 2008 12:18

The sQuba, developed by Swiss company Rinspeed, is the world's first car that can be driven both on land and under water. The original idea by Rinspeed founder and CEO Frank M. Rinderknecht was inspired by the 1977 James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me. The Lotus Elise is the basis of this car. The sQuba will be presented to the public for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show on March 16, 2008.

Dodge Viper SRT10

February 17th 2008 04:46

The new Viper SRT-10 Coupe was introduced in 2005, at the Detroit Auto Show, as a 2006 model. It shares many of its body panels with the convertible but takes its side and rear styling cues from the Competition Coupe. The new coupe looks much like the previous Viper GTS and retains the "double-bubble" roof shape of the original, along with the original GTS's taillights as well offering the original Viper Blue paint scheme with white stripes (referred to as GTS Blue) for an added homage to the original Viper coupe. The engine was also certified by the SAE to produce 510 hp (380 kW) and 535 lb·ft (725 N·m) of torque. It is important to note that the engine makes the same power as before, only the numerical value of the power was changed. Unlike the original coupe, the chassis was not modified. This made the new coupe heavier than the convertible, and thus slightly slower in low speed acceleration. Handling and high speed performance were improved by the coupe's stiffer frame, reduced drag, and increased downforce.

Sexy Video Clips

February 17th 2008 04:20
Sexy video clips have a more negative influence on girls than on boys, says Dutch pop professor Tom ter Bogt. Ter Bogt investigated the influence of sexy video clips on the thoughts, behaviour and self-image of 13 to 16 year old children. After viewing the clips, girls felt that outward appearance was more important, they were less satisfied with their own appearance, and they became less resolute in denying permissive sex.

In his research Ter Bogt showed (censored) sexy videos from well-known pop-artists 50 Cent, Amanda Wilson ft. Freemasons, Nelly, NERD and David Guetta to a group of 250 children. An equally-sized group watched the concert performances of the same songs. After seeing the videos the girls in the test group felt more strongly that outward appearance was important for girls, and they tended to be less satisfied about their own appearances. Unexpectedly the videos did not affect the boys in the groups as much, their behaviour and self-image was more or less unchanged, contrary to previous beliefs that boys can be influenced by sexy videos to participate in group rapes

Audi R8

February 17th 2008 04:09

Hands down, Audi makes the finest cars in the world for normal use. Sure I'd love one of those red rockets from Italy with the prancing horse. I've driven MB and BMW and they aren't half as good as an Audi on even their best days. Audi's quattro system is the envy of the auto world and Audi's engineering is fabulous. An Audi has amazing feel and response and seems to float over the road like a stealth fighter. On the R8, what other car in the world has electro-magnetic shocks? Audi's are the safest cars on the road and Audi now ranks near the top on satisfaction while MB is at the bottom and BMW a little above the bottom.

on Would you date someone you work with?

February 17th 2008 07:24
That was romantic.A genuine guy I must say...or one helluva pick-up artist. Was this your first date with him? You shouldn't have done 'it' yet. Lowers your value and diminishes that sense of wonder. Keep him guessing...in a good way of course.

" And what do you do for a living?"

I am a pornstar. I get to have sex with pretty women and they pay me to do it. Cool, huh?
Two birds in one stone, so to speak.

I also work part-time in the motor industry but I really don't belong there coz I'm nice...really nice.Ask me about your car's worth to prove me wrong.
