Some big questions about past pollies.

I've got to be cautious here, as I don't want to get myself into any trouble, but the Queensland Courier Mail has kept many of us amused/bemused and gasping with the news about two former ministers of the Beattie Government. Apparently their activities that are currently being investigated by the CMC and/or the Police.
One has a day in court later this week, and we are all waiting to hear details of the strange behaviour which has been alleged.
At the same time we are intriqued about a colleague who borrowed $300,000 and according to the papers did not declare it, as is required, but he borrowed it for his children. My expensive children he must have.
Politicians don't often have good press at the best of times and should either or both of these folk be found guilty of major indiscretions, it will only serve to lower the credibility of all politicians. I hasten to add that our press is also revealing stories of other politicians in other states who also face some challenges in court.
Shame.
