Ideas are exciting and scary. When you first think of a great idea your mind is sparkling with the possibilities. The dream of your idea blossoming into something grand is intoxicating. Your vision seems so real. You can see, feel and taste your future success. How you wish you had started this idea in motion a year or two ago so it could be real, now!
Then you start to think of how long this brilliant idea will take to come to be fully realized and all that you'll need to do to make it a reality. Actually, there might be a few flaws with your plan. Come to think of it quite a few things could go wrong. People might critisize your idea and think less of you when you fail. You might think less of you when you fail.
You decide to think about this idea more before doing anything rash. You are being responsible, logical and cautious. Your mother would approve.
You turn on the TV, or open the fridge, or go browse the internet or go take a nap.
