Things My Mother Taught Me

There are some things in life that I am so glad I learned.
Every lesson is important, but it can be hard to rule out the ones that are more important than others. When you choose to become and entreprenuer, it is very important to study all that you can.
One of the most important things you will learn is how to become an influential and likeable person.
To give you a summarized list of some of the best things I have learned:

*Please and Thank You along with a smile will take you farther in life than you can ever image
*Always send a Card! Thank you cards, birthday cards, congrat cards, inspiring cards, appreciation cards. There is a card for every occassion, and there is a reason for that! Use them and you will be amazed!
*Be Tactful, kind and considerate to everyone! You don't want to burn any bridges you might need to wander back across!
*Always wear clean underwear
*Be articulant and avoid swearing as it just makes you look ignorant
*Having the attention of a few close friends makes you wealthier than the biggest celebrity in the world.
*Teach with praise, not with punishment
*If you don't lie, its easier to remember everything
*Close your mouth and listen actively
*Treat others how you wish to be treated
I will tell you, some of the best friends, companions and business associates I have today, I have because I remembered these things. As a child and young adult, I saw almost no use for them, but then as I gained many years, i found them to be the most powerful tools I could ever have used!
Try them out and you will go far!
